Finals: 2-3

And our record
2017: draw, won at home
2018: won at home
2019: lost at home
2020: lost away
2021: lost at home, won in Perth
2022: won away
2023: lost at home
2024: lost at home.

So we haven't beaten in them in Victoria since 2017, and hardly ever play them at all.

When Sydney's rep Rd against Port was shown, I took note that they hadn't had a double up since at least 2015.
Same thing with us and GWS so provided Brisbane don't pull off a miracle, both prelim matchups just don't play more than once a year

Hogan's become the player he was touted to be as a teenager for Melbourne. Had it not been for the persistent back issues, could have seen this a lot earlier on.
