Given the reports on Stevens, i'd be amazed if he came back into the team. If the guy was at least half serious, he'd be out there racking up the posessions, and really putting his name in front of the selectors.

It was very windy their today and he had a heavy tag, tough game to get a kick for an outside type. The positive was he honestly looked like he had lost 2 kgs.

Potentially he may not of eaten for 2 weeks and was flat ROFL

Good that skinny kicked the winning goal, will give him confidence. Was it a snap, running goal or a set shot?

Why is he any safer playing in the seconds than at Carlton? I'm sure the club made sure he's right before giving him the green light.

If the MC deem he'll provide more to our side one game back than the 22nd player, then why not bring him back?

Well for match fitness for one thing, there is a much bigger difference in pace between the VFL and AFL ...

If he is right to go that is fine, but I would have thought after been away for such an lengthy period of time, at least 2 games in the VFL would be required before he gets his 'mojo' back ...

Stevo could be struggling to get back in this week, laid a few tackles but was quiet most of the day and looked like he had the sh*ts, Teagey said at 3 Quarter time "Stevo you're playing a massive role today" tagged by number 33. Brownie had a ripper 3rd quarter, Walker looked good except he made a couple of bad errors, Cloke kicked 3 and took a really good contested mark. Garley kicked a really good goal, but was pretty quiet, Yarran will more than likely keep his spot.

Even if lacking confidence Walker >>>>>>> daylight >>>> Bentley

I thought Ellard played very well, and Austin played well too and expect him to come in for Hartlett.Mitch Robinson was good in patches.

Walker played very tentative and obviously didnt want to get into any big contests, he took a while to come into it but was better as the day went on, looked like he was struggling for match fitness and i think most definitly will not play against the pies, expect another game or two in the ants :thumbsu:

Stevo was shocking!

I am surprised he had little or no impact , nevertheless he appearsto have lost alot of weight so i would get him back in.

In: Sentena, Stevens, Walker, Jamo

Out: Bentley, Hartlett, Johnson, Anderson (stiff)

Believe me, Stevo had little impact. Maybe he's just going through a bad patch and hopefully he'll return to top form because at his best he's an awesome kick, isn't quick but could be our Stewie Dew.

Be surprised if Walks plays against the Pies - played pretty well but remained "outside" today and looks like he still has to get confidence in his shoulder. Also looked tired in the last quarter so probably needs some more match fitness.

Stevo needs to read what Dew read

Great thread fellas :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Happy the Bullies got up and with the comments on Stevo i would be very surprised if he got as gig this week he clearly doesnt deserve it from what i have read but stranger things have happened!! Hoops getting a recall after the Werribee match i attended a few weeks ago is still fresh in my memory.

Thanks for the write ups from the attendees who went today. :thumbsu:

Stevo still made those un-characteristic fumbles and a couple of bad turnovers probably would've been lucky to have 20 possesions, Teagey sounded like he was trying to give Stevo some confidence in the 3 quarter time huddle.

That's because he was never dropped for "performance" reasons.

Clearly wasnt elevated into the senior team for them either after his performance that day!

That's a rubbish myth losing weight not eating. The body stores fat, maybe he is doing the right thing of watching what he eats and burns it off.
