We have a solid CHB, Sheez and George with more experience. An improving ruck. With Logue to come back in, a far better back six. McKercher, Hardeman quality kids. We have so much more to be optimistic about I think it's far more sustainable than last year. We also lost a truck load of experience at the end of 2023. We are taking genuine steps forward towards becoming a good team. Yes wins would be nice and they will come with the groups further development.
when we get those three back in the side, we will improve even more! logue will definitely help the back six with chom down there.

We finally have the structure balance and I think these guys are helping with our bombs down the line play we all so love to see ad nauseum.
Credit to coaching staff tho. They are figuring it all out …
What a waste of money Stephen’s is. 4 years of cash we could and should be loading on the LDU contract .
Have actually only watched the last Q, so not really qualified, but stephens was flying up and down his wing and wasn’t used often. Thought he was really good in the last.

By far the best bottom placed side I've ever seen. We're finally getting to a point where every other team will be paying real close attention to us.
Didn't we already win that award when we won our finish spoon in a generation

Went along by myself tonight and just had an absolute blast riding the wave of momentum with the team and the other fans at the end there. Would have dearly loved to have pinched it but it feels like FOREVER since going to the footy was actually fun. Go Roos

Yeah, it was fun again wasn’t it? The North end was going off.

5 years for us as supporters yes, but not 5 years for Clarko and this team! And that is it in a nutshell imo.
Rather odd how that poster (who has enlightened us all with the "honourable losses are bad" comment two weeks in a row) doesn't consider 2000-2019 as a losing period in the club's history.

He was good at getting his hands on the pill but he actual ran away from the opposition player with the ball, like twice…

I’ve never seen that in all my life, a guy who literally runs away from someone who’s doing their best to run away from him..

Since when did it become appropriate to speak the F Bomb to kids around 6 or 7 as a matter fact conversation?

My mate Deez fan plonked in the North Members section sat beside me showing me the way of the new world for three quarters

At 3/4 time i decided to extricate myself from the $43 seat and stand on Level 1 behind the goals

Great to have been down there for that last quarter, but my mind still boggles..:

Copped some seagull excrement on my member's cap, at the start of the last. Going along with that old wives tale, I knew the comeback was on. Just fell a points short in the end unfortunately.
Loved sitting in the Ponsford among the faithful today. The last 2 weeks have been the loudest and most engaged North crowds for a long time. Hope is a wonderful thing

Who was more full of it?
Steven May or the seagulls?

Great last quarter, where was that in the 1st half. When we go we are exciting
I said after the Fremantle game pretty much what was going to happen, glimpses of how good we are going to be, but that only lasted just over a half, this time against the premiers we played 3/4 of the game, but see we were coming again at the finish. I actually thought Melbourne would be ready for us and take control of the match, with what happened last week the boys confidence would have been at an all time low but you see this is where the genius of Alastair is on full display behind closed doors, he reminds me of Mick Malthouse at Collingwood, he was like a father to them and they would run through a brick wall for him, in a way this is what is happening now.

The youngsters still aren't ready but through sheer willpower, confidence and belief in what Alastair is drilling into them plus all the beltings and opposition supporters laughing at us, this is going to be one hell of a team and remember, these last two games were not "flukes", this team is doing this now and we are only in our infancy, add a number 1/2/3 draft pick plus three or four other boys and our future is looking okay.

That effort tonight after last weeks heartbreak was nothing short of sensational, and yes I know we got beat, but after destroying the pies in the first half and tonight {even with Tracca out} giving the Dees a five or six goal head start and nearly mowing them down is very scary, I had a feeling after that Freo game, that with a bit of time, this side is going to be very, very good, even if some people can't see it, I don't think I realised how good!

When this side learns how to win, what I think you'll see is "foot to the floor', scenario where they won't let teams back in, they will have that killer instinct and remember those years of pain and will crush the opposition to shreds. You can feel it , god you can almost sense it, lots of little things that our supporters can see in matches like a tap on to a players advantage, helping each other, when we get a run on, our game goes to that next level, and our foot skills are a joy to watch, how did that all change, two words, Alastair & confidence!

Bottom line is that we are still losing, losing and losing. Every other bottom 4 team pulls off upsets, win from behind etc, look at Hawthorn over the last couple of years as a prime example, we never ever do any of that, we choke 54 point leads, and we can't translate comebacks. We just always find ways to lose.
Oh Elite Master I know what your saying, and yes a few more wins would be great but sometimes you have to look past the wins and notice the little things, its the little things Elite Master that will get us there!

Please stay 😭
I'll give you a little hint, forget all the nonsense that you hear from people outside the club, another one of our players that is highly thought of, now your starting to see why. Will, loves this club and watch that interview if you haven't already, he's not going anywhere, these guys are sticking around because they know something special is brewing, after going through the bad times Will and co are sticking fat to not just rise up the ladder but take the competition by storm. If you watch that interview and are not impressed by the way Will talks about us then you are a very hard taskmaster.

I love Will and the whole team in general, even after everything he's gone through, the doubters, the buts, but he's playing in the reserves for a pick 3, his career is finished, we made a bust. But we can't keep giving him chances just cause he had glandular fever twice and some injuries and covid! But as a midfielder he's behind ................! We've got to trade him, we probably won't get much back in return but maybe a fresh start might turn his career around!

"BUT" no more and "DOUBT" no more, support these boys and I don't just mean when they have a good game, most of us do , to an extent. To all the people who say we are sick of losing, we want wins, well times that by about a hundred and that's how the players feel, be patient it will come, that is the least of our worries at the moment, and in the end we all want us to win. I also can see after the last five years why sometimes people say stuff even though deep down they don't really mean it, they love the club and players and just want success, its very understandable.

They’ll re list josh Bruce who’s been living on KFC for 3 years and he’ll prob still kick 10
Now come on flojo be sensible, you darn well know that little blond haired shrimp from the dogs is going to kick half a dozen and sink us! ;)
