agree . Back 6 will look solid once Griff , Hardeman , Kerch slip in . This will put pressure on the likes of Dawson , LMac , Tucker & on the wings to Stephens & hate to say it Powell.
We need to find 1-2,more avenues to goal. Today Larkey was down / beaten but Ford & The Bull stepped up. PCurtis ,Teackle & Pink had no goals.
Need to find another 1-2 goal kickers . (Don’t have to be KPF) More midfielders goals or try Duursma back asap or hate to say it Chom or Griff up there .

I reckon Pink and Teakle deserve to be on the list. They are playable. But not best 22 locks.

I'm thinking better than just being competitive.

I say these two because if we want to be elite one day, these guys won't be best 22. For now, they're great stop gaps. Replace them with young gun KPP and we're laughing.

Average age was Melb 25y 110d, NM 24y 266d.

They did have 3 teenagers though (2 early first rounders & a F/S), who combined for 6 fewer touches and 2 less goals than what our 1 teenager managed. So congrats to them.

There is a place on the team for Teakle as a FP/Ruck if he continues this form. He has been invaluable and is extremely mobile for his size.

Nearly stole that game but unfortunately only showed up for a quarter. There were alot of positives but one of the big one's for mine was actually the north supporter base in the last quarter.

For the first time in a long time we became the 19th man, we need to bring that much noise and support every game. I think it had a lot to do with the momentum swing.

It was pretty close. I think it said on the screen at the start that our average age was 26 and theirs was 27. We found that hard to believe though
