Geeze the Melbourne media are critical of non Victorian crowds. But Dees v Carlton at the MCG you’d expect at least 65k. Doesn’t look anything like it.
And good on Carlton for wearing a decent clash strip although all-white for footy just seems wrong to me.

I see Carlton winning this game against Melbourne by a couple of goals then first week of finals Melbourne finish 5th then come out and win by 20 goals against the Blues.
I’m on the Sydney train this September, would usually switch off but will be at GF so I’m giving it my best to stay interested.

I couldn’t stand NRL and had many a pub debates but with all the rule changes, inconsistencies and Koch/Ken crap I am warming to the No necks and tossing the so-called aerial ping pong.

Good luck to David Mundy in his last W Derby+ the rest of the 2022 season.Has played in a GF for Freo and other finals campaigns.
But seen lots of bad says at Freo. And must of considered going back to Victoria a few times.

This is a great game. Lots of pressure around and off the ball. Blues have surprised me with their ferocity. Saad is playing a great defensive game. Have I mentioned how easy it is to follow a game on TV when they have clear clash strips? Given how much money comes to the clubs and players from the broadcasters you'd reckon the AFL would do something about that.

And the crowd has built up nicely. Why Vics leave it to the last minute to get to the game only to face huge queues at the gates continues to confuse me. Especially with so many public transport options available to get there.

Anyway. As I said. Great game.

West Coast are playing pretty good wet weather footy.Their defense is bombing it out and Freo are trying to finess the ball back in.. Pretty sure Freo have lost all there games in the wet this year.
