And to think early West Coast struggled so much over its first three seasons it’s what inspired the SANFL to,

1) wait until 1993/4 before revisiting the prospect of a local license (under the assumption the abortive national competition would fall over);

2) and when their hand was forced it caused them to go polar opposite to the generic WA-experience with branding = the Red, Blue and Gold Adelaide Croweating Crows Who Drink FUIC, Eat Fruchocs & Go Into Town

Where's the ridiculous helmet for West Coast? They're missing out on looking as embarrassed as the crow
Can you post the Crow please? I can’t see it.

In their Toyota Camrys, which've just about brought up their first 100km by now.

The best thing the SANFL could do is concentrate on becoming a development league & a great nursery for young talent.

Of course this will never happen because all they care about is chasing some 2nd best comp in the country rubbish & encourage flooding the league with AFL discards.

Are their crowds declining at all? Haven't really seen any stats on it. They can't be in all that greater financial shape.

Their crowd #'s are as rubbery as the crows AO figures. Was at Richmond Oval a few years back when we played Westies.

Did a eyeball count of roughly 600 tops, next day's paper had 1550 there. Our crowds are nothing to brag about either.

Scrap Reserves and turn it into U21 with 2/3 exceptions (what its close to now but make it official)

I reckon local footy (HFL/GSFL) is a better afternoon out in terms of atmosphere

Why are they wearing helmets?

Well done big tough guy Zurhaar, do that in a real game and you'd give away a free kick and cost your team one of the few goals they'll kick next year. It'll impress the mouthbreathers who support your club and spend their time online abusing a teenager and defending a domestic abuser though.

Holy ****

Imagine the club celebrating a guy doing an illegal high contact on a team mate and turning his back walking away as he's on the the ground, not even interested in helping him up.

Actually disgusting

May north suck for a bit longer

Some much wrong in this
The walk away
The little effort to be knocked down
Would be a turnover in reg match
Tough guys though…

Apart from the appalling sportsmanship by not checking if his fellow teammate was ok, that's a free kick every day of the week & likely a fine by the AFL Tribunal.
Sec 3.1A Forceful Front-On Contact, Sec 3.1B Careless.
