Are you talking about Boss? He wasn't a caretaker?

I’m talking about caretaker coaches

Voss’s new coach bump is an example of why installing caretaker coaches is dangerous. The new coach bump is a real thing, and it makes judging caretaker coaches difficult.

Who's the caretaker?

Blake acres was garbage last night. Would be surprising if he had one effective disposal
Acres is a good one to look at in that loss, I started to hone in him too. Of course he had effective disposals, lots really. But as viewers we are entitled to have a separate definition of effective disposals i.e. ones that cause damage to the opposition. He's the epitome of Carlton's secondary scoring issue, nothing much is being scored by their midfielders.

At this point the moment Carlton wins a final will be like VE- Day for the Vic media.
Full on campaign to wear their home strip if they play away to Port. Ha.
Long may they fail so we can avoid such nausea inducing coverage.
Well we know how that worked for Richmond. Best AFL win in the Prison Bars by the length of the straight at Morphetville.

I blame the media. I know their job is to hype up clubs to get the fans excited but I genuinely feel bad for them, especially the younger crop. They fleeced my stepbrother into buying a membership at the start of 2022 and he ended the season with a fist shaped hole in his door seconds after the Collingwood game ended. Other than the spine of a fit and firing Weitering, Walsh, Cripps, Curnow and McKay is their list any good? I genuinely don’t believe so. A premiership side needs more than 5 good players.
Cripps and McKay both massively overrated

Is this actually a thing?

If so there are some very sad humans out there.
That's the Crows football club motto isn't it? They've even got the latin version of the motto as part of their emblem.

"Natus Ut Odio Port Adelaide"

Yes - they are a sad pretentious lot.

Some fairly meh games today - the crowd at Marvel might (should?) be bigger than the one being played at the same time at The Home of Football™, seeing as it's two VFL teams playing each other, WCE might chalk up a win of sorts with the biggest crowd of the day:

The St Kilda v Hawthorn game will be an absolute cracker. Pity they couldn't have scheduled it for The Home of Football™. All of the other games involve interstate clubs.

Yeah bit like those old Hyundai Excel’s you see all done up to look shyt hot but in reality, they are just shyt.
Yep was the same with Murphy, Gibbs, Simpson

Anybody shows even the slightest hint of talent there and they get superstar treatment. Walsh and Curnow are the first blokes there that have actually deserved the hype in decades.

I'm surprised anyone that appeared on The Recruit is employable tbh
I liked The Recruit :drunk:
Not the reality show "You're fired" stuff but the tasks that gave more insight into aspects of being an AFL player. Fitness and skills tasks based challenges, challenges based on dealing with the media. Sadly looking at descriptors of the various episodes (Recruits at War, Drop Zone, Swimming with the Sharks etc) they all look Survivorish and that wasn't how it really was. Still we'll always have The Recruit to thank for Cat B rookie Johann Wagner.

This is Carlton, so probably on the money. Who knows maybe they're plotting to reunite Hinkley with Voss at the blues

Walsh is an interesting type, gets a lot of football but doesn’t really do a lot of damage.
Putting into perspective, if JHF got 31 disposals playing for Carlton last night like Walsh did Carlton wins easily IMO.

Could also be "Natus Ex Odio Port Adelaide"
