No BT. No Brayshaw.

No BS. No Egos.

No made up controversies.

And no references to which college players went to.

Just a focus on the footy (edit: except when a pitch invader appears and McLachlan couldn't help himself).

YMMV. But this commentary team actually works for me and might be the best prime time coverage on Seven this year.

Hamish McLachlan

Negative of StKilda winning is a non-Vic side in the Swans basically out of the finals race.

Positive of StKilda winning is they're in the finals race and wins like this probably help them keep the Crows out of finals.

Can't see them being a top 4 threat, and thus a threat to us making top 4, but I guess they're equal 3rd still, so can't ignore them totally.

Thursday footy in a bye round has got the better of my weekly fantasy prep.

Anyone know if an emergency would replace ‘no selected player’?

It’s the difference between Marshal’s 126 points and Hill’s 59.

Wasn’t one of them Phil Davis?… I’m not sure as it was aural narcolepsy.

When you’ve contributed near 9k posts to this shitty website and can’t get an answer to a life changing question.

Jokes on you assholes when I’m DM’ing pics or the ‘you got peppered’ tattoos I had to get on my bum.

It would depend on your league settings, but usually emergencies only qualify if they’re replacing a non-playing player, or a player who didn’t meet whatever your TOG% cutoff is.

Fire Hamish and Daisy into the sun, never to be seen again, and it's looking a whole lot better.

football is on life support.

the tackle is now dead.
This is actually a real challenge to the fabric of the game (unlike the Van Rooyen suspension).

What is the definition of a dangerous tackle? I thought it was a tackle where:
  • arms pinned (can't protect themselves)
  • two actions, where second action drives the player to ground

When did it morph into any tackle where the tackled player's head hits the ground, regardless of any other considerations?

the only part of this I like is the consistency of the match review. If you cause a concussion, you will be offered games.

Saints will challenge and hopefully it’s overturned.

Every player accepts risk when they walk onto the field. If it was a deliberate action, fair enough, but this wasn’t.
