Hey, I’m torn on this one as a Port fan… I think everyone including me knows it will be a long suspension, but some of us think that it shouldn't be.
Certainly when you consider what has gotten off suspension in past years, players jumping in the air to knock players out come to mind.
They have to ban the bump. Then theres no gray areas

Port Adelaide playing the thug role perfectly.

Knocking people out, booing them off field, playing for frees, fans defending a sniper.
Funny that when your best player is chasing finals and Brownlows, somehow knocking players out is ok?

Serious question, in what way? He didn't drive him into the ground or appear to hit him high (I am backing away and saying appear in case there are other angles I haven't seen)

The fact you suggest its like Maynard and should get the same result tells me you didnt pay attention when they closed that loophole

Okay if that is the case (so many people are saying it, it is clear that I haven't seen the right replays) then he deserves a long break.

He'll get a break either way, as soon as you elect to bump you're liable for any injury. Even if it's his head hitting the ground and not the shoulder.

There's a still only a few pages back that shows shoulder clearly hitting the head so it's irrelevant anyway.

Hard to think of a more unlikeable player than Butters at the minute.
Arguably the best player at getting under oppo skin.

Clearly Houston is finished at Port. It’s a shame because he’s clearly a fair player and the bump obviously bothered him but it is what it is.

It's clear as day mate.

You elect to bump, get it wrong and concuss the other bloke - you're out for weeks. Houston will be lucky to play a finals match at this rate. Was just a stupid decision and poor technique.

A big reason you win the second half as Crows best player was off the park for it too. Not all the reason, but played a big part of it, when margins are close.
