Need Dawson in the centre square , he’s our prime A grade mid

He gets the ball inside and out and forwards dream of leading to him

He’s also a threat around ground with his marking and goal kicking and makes good opposition worry about us
Dawson, Laird, Soligo and one of Rankine/Pedlar/Rachele is the best midfield mix. Soligo was training the house down before he did his ankle apparently. He should be our 2nd best mid by the end of the year imo.

He did some nice things during the game, clearly showing his skills. What position do you think he should play in round 1, and who's spot does he take?
Half back flank for me... which had been a good starting point for many of our gun midfielders.

Good to hear Tex is comfortable with having more games off this season to manage his body.

What's missing a few games when it may extend your career another season...

Who are the AFL players who can breakout into stardom in 2024?

That was the question posed by league greats Nathan Buckley and Kane Cornes on SEN Breakfast, with both naming several players who can take the next step.

“I’ve avoided the easy ones… but I’ve picked four and each of them are around 50 games,” Buckley began.

Cornes named Adelaide’s Luke Pedlar (21 years old, 26 games), Suns swingman Mac Andrew (21 years old, 21 games) and Geelong forward Ollie Henry (21 years old, 47 games) as the players he believes will explode in 2024.

Buckley named four players, speaking in-depth on each, after spruiking young Swan Angus Sheldrick last week.

If Soli has overtaken Laird, Crouch and Rankine to become our second-best mid by the end of the year ...

... something has either gone staggeringly right...or staggeringly wrong?

Love what Jake is becoming but you make a very big call my friend 😊

Woke up to that discussion on SEN, do you know how disturbing it is when your first morning thought is that of your good self. Surprised it took you so long to post 😉

On Kymbo and the Rooch tonight they stated that Sam baulderstone will be our new ruck coach
Worked with Glenelg in the past… imagine it’s not going to be a totally full-time role, can’t get anyone located interstate to move over for a full-time assistant role so finding someone local was probably the only option again.
