How anyone, after any of our losses, let alone most of them come on here a single out defenders as reasons we're losing games of football astounds me.
We have gone the whole season not conceding 100 points FFS.

We need to move the ball quickly so that we can kick a winning score, but we can't for 120 minutes as we simply don't possess the skills.
We're up shit creek without a paddle tbh.

That's the order of culpability for our losses.
Far too many need to refocus to what really is our ailment, and to what really is crippling our finals campaigns.

We lose finals nearly the same way FFS.
Smacked in the ruck, and smacked in the midfield.
Wells simply is shit at drafting rucks, and we've tried buying them and got nowhere. The solution to that seems a mile away.

Parfitt and Narkle had a lot of rough edges to their games today but I loved the contest and drive they kept offering. Far from the worst thing we had going for us.

Our gameplan seems to be to kick it long and high to Sav or Hawkins and hope they do better than the last time we kicked it to them when they had four opponents.

The reason we don’t get scored against is we always have 7 defenders and never turn the ball over in the middle. It’s 2019. Being a good defence means you have a balance of attack and rebound. We have none

An absolutely appalling performance from the handicapper. You could hear it in Lloyd's voice before the game: surely this brainfart couldn't have been a collective decision Stupid mind games that had only the tiniest chance of working out. Then to go out and play dumb, defensive footy when you need to go hard. This loss has upset me more than any since 2011, and that says a lot.
