Had a shit week, had a shit day.... and then my usual stream wouldn't work....

Ended up shooting down to the nearest pub to watch the game from around the end of the first quarter. Had a good time watching. Ended up chatting to an Essendon and St Kilda supporter for most of the game.

From what I actually paid attention to, we had a decent game. None of Gawn, Olliver or Petracca dominated by any means so I'm not too unhappy. Our good play clearly stood out the most.

It should be regarded as a football act but that doesn't mean it will be. I reckon he was adjusting his body in the last split second to avoid head contact. He would hardly have had much time to think given that both players were heading in opposite directions.

I had him as one of the three outs several weeks back and don't understand how he survived the cut and Noble got omitted. Lipinski is a very limited player - slow, lacking courage and not the great disposer of the ball that many claim. But he will be selected for the next game. Eventually his selection may cost us a win.

Highly unlikely we replace a midfield rotation with a defender. If Lipinski is out then it’s likely another mid like (say) Macrae taking his spot.
