I had him as one of the three outs several weeks back and don't understand how he survived the cut and Noble got omitted. Lipinski is a very limited player - slow, lacking courage and not the great disposer of the ball that many claim. But he will be selected for the next game. Eventually his selection may cost us a win.
With Naicos coming back in and the cuts getting so hard to make (hi Johnny ****ing Noble) I thought he was the one who raised his hand for omission yet again. I'd be amazed if survives that effort.

On a plane to Singapore, bloody wifi kept dropping out all through the last quarter! Thank God we held on.
Haven't seen the Maynard incident, what's the honest take on it?
A complete accident while going for a smother. Turned his shoulder late but will surely be seen as self protection. Don't see him being suspended. Not even the commentators or Ralph suggested he would.

It would surprise you to learn that Cox won the hitout count against Gawn 35-31.
Only because Gawn took possession himself out of the ruck about 10 times.

In the eye of the beholder I guess.
Given Melbs dominance in inside 50's and territory I'd say our mids were soundly beaten as a unit. So I find it hard to rate Pendles defensive mid game.

If Melb had a half decent forward line we lose that game comfortably

They were 2.2 at half-time and the umpires kicked most of their goals for them. A forward line is an actual thing, you know.

Our defenders won us that.

We actually had a lot of players down on the night I thought so to come away with the win is amazing .
The Good: Mitchell, Sidey, Moore, IQ, Murph, Howe, Crispy, Hill, WHE, Maynard all very good.
Ginni was good when he came on too.
The bad: Lipinski, MCreery, Elliot, Jaicos, Pendles, McStays first half.
Pass: Markov, Mihocek, Cox, Cameron, Adams, Degoey
Johnny F'n would've been handy tonight! Strange call to drop him.

WHE had a bloody good game. About 20 disposals, 5 marks, nearly 500m gained. Not sure JFN would have given us any more.

I'm going to disagree and say we have to play Cox, but not necessarily Cameron. Cameron was beaten most of the night by Gawn. He was a match for van Rooyen. I don't think Fly will do this, but Cameron did not play a good game at all.
Cox just doesn't have the tank to play as the main ruckman. McStay is even worse than Cameron in the ruck. We have to stick with the Cox Cameron combo.

Prepare to be amazed.
Word early in the year was if he is available to play he will always play.

How can 80k pies supporters see it, but coaches and the boys persisted with kicking it on his head?
Yet that game plan delivered a win.

Yes a win

Elated to be through to the prelim.

Selection will be interesting.
Considering no injuries or suspensions before then -
IN:
N.Daicos
Ginnivan
OUT:
Markov?
.....who else?

BF Pies board whipping boy Lipinski was OK, and fellow maligned player WHE was good tonight.
Both will play.
...and what of my man Johnny Noble? Will he get a look-in?

Selection headaches are a good thing at this time of year.
Lipinski had 13 disposals at 62%, 0 goals, 1 I/50 and 1 goal assist. Lowest rated player on our team except for Ginnivan.
He also shirked some contests.
That's what you consider OK??
