Rowe is basically saying that Ricciuto, Reid and Ogilvie shouldn't be making any decisions for 2025 and the club needs a genuine external review.

He's not a fan of Nicks, but what external reviews do (as in, the ones that Richmond did in 2016 and Collingwood did in 2017) is pinpoint the key problems without fear or bias. External reviews don't look for scapegoats. They might point to ten bigger issues at the club than Nicks.

FWIW I don't rate Nicks.

Laird’s body language is disgraceful and it’s an indictment on the club that he hasn’t been called out for it. Storms off at the interchange without even a glance at the teammate coming on. After Dowling’s goal, he plodded over, yelled at the runner for 5 seconds, then walked off without even acknowledging Billy.

Every time he couldn't get the easy ball, he was jogging around. Lazy, entitled footballer.

Weren't the 'values' supposed to be about playing for the team? Laird is so far from that at the moment.

Play Dowling from round 3, have him at 10 games experience and he probably kicks that goal.

Instead, nicks invests those games in Murphy (and McHenry) instead and we see Murphy drop a sitter in the last quarter.

Nicks deserves everything he gets.

Laird seriously reminds me of McGuiness, McDermott and A Jarman when Blight came in. Blight saw them for what they were and put the broom through them. All three were still racking it up, but offered no defensive pressure at all.

It was the oversized influence and off field nonsense that got them cleared out
