I thought Strachan was shit myself, we got completely hammered in the midfield and he won nothing. rOB isn’t good either but I think we almost win with him playing.
We have put out the worst team ever tonight I think, most of the players tonight wouldn’t get a game with another AFL team.
Nicks is an idiot and the structure today was diabolical or he’s lost the players. We repeatedly help onto the ball for ages and let Richmond set up defensively before kicking the ball forward. The only light in this shit year is we will get our hands on a top 5 pick to hopefully get a top class midfielder that we have been crying out for.

The ugly is that was a "marquee" time slot and we served up that trash!
There is zero leadership on field, we lack leaders all over the ground, only Dawson and Tex have any sort of leadership skills

One of the biggest problem in our midfield is the amount Laird gets it. Most of his possessions are either useless or terrible.

It more than just the coach which is the problem. Big clean out at the top is needed.
Agree, Strachan was no good in the ruck. Was good at getting around the field but that's about it.
I think it comes from the top down, sure you could target x y z player, but at the end of the day this is a story we've all seen before. We start ordinary, we leave it late until 3rd/4th qtr, and then we play but by then it's too late. We leave ourselves too much to do.

Which is the opposite of ROB who wins the hit outs and is completely useless around the ground.
Neither are the answer. Just add it to the list of problem areas that need to be fixed.

This is kind of a problem of our own doing though, right? Totally agree with your post.
The list is diabolical, has been for ages, injuries aren't even close to the reason why.

J Dawson and J Soligo (22), R Laird (20), K Strachan (18), S Berry (10), J Borlase and C Burgess (4), J Rachele and H Schoenberg (2).
Berry had more than I was expecting really, but Rachele and Schoenberg having 4 between them (while **ing Laird gets 20) is ***ing horrific. Dowling getting none is * too, but not really unexpected.
