That's the worst quality team we have put out since 2020-21. In 2026 - atleast half of that team won't be playing. Only positive is that we learn a lot about the bottom end of our list from games like this....well we do, don't know if the clowns in the coaches box do.

Laird seriously reminds me of McGuiness, McDermott and A Jarman when Blight came in. Blight saw them for what they were and put the broom through them. All three were still racking it up, but offered no defensive pressure at all.

ugly: drafting and development, and lack thereof. remember when this club used to actually develop really good-great footballers? now we rely on other clubs and hope they want to come back home. when will the club actually take a serious look at itself and what it does during the week instead of looking for excuses post game? when will the club actually spend the money on coaching and development, instead of hiring mates who just want to swap stories? when will the club actually have board members who go to all games, not just when they have boundary riding commitments?

when will the club decide that winning is the only thing that actually matters?
