No he didn't? Yeah he had minimal touches but didn't come close to Ned's levels of (lack of) composureHe looked like Ned today.

Not super comfortable with Curtin being one of the primary wings just yet. Doesn't mean I wouldn't play him there, but should just roll through there for nowCumming to Sub, Curtin to the Wing, Draper onto the bench.
We wont make any changes I don't think.
However I'd like to get a look at Butts for Keane. Feel Jordan is more reliable & will stop the leak of goals a bit more. May lose a little attacking drive but with the rest of our game in sync & nice mix of runners/ball users etc we can probably do that.
Also Draper needs a full game. Probably send Peatling to sub for 1 week.
Milera and Laird are there to be attacking options out of defenseAgree completely.
Keane has too many "oh shit" moments, good teams will punish them.
Butts is more reliable for me.
Milera - good game, but what's his role?
With Milera and Laird back, I feel like we're short a genuine attacking option out of defence.
Peatling was good, but not great, Cumming very similar, but gotta give them a month or so to find their feet.
Essendon are terrible.
Surprised no one has suggested Sholl to sub, and Curtin to the wing
Yeah I don't mind Peatling as sub if we want to get Draper a full game in the middle, but I'd look to use it at half time and bring Walker/any guy who's cramping or sore off
I hope noone does, because Sholl was very good todaySurprised no one has suggested Sholl to sub, and Curtin to the wing
Didn't lack composure or turn it over, but couldn't really get into the game either. That said, if he's in the bottom four players, then it's still an immense upgrade on McMurphy. Was peatling no good?
Hoping to watch the replay tonight, looks like cumming struggled a bit too?Didn't lack composure or turn it over, but couldn't really get into the game either. That said, if he's in the bottom four players, then it's still an immense upgrade on McMurphy.
Probably because Sholl was better than about 12 of our other players, including the other wingman today.Surprised no one has suggested Sholl to sub, and Curtin to the wing
Yeah, he was also quiet.Hoping to watch the replay tonight, looks like cumming struggled a bit too?
Sholl was good and has been good pretty much all last year. Has really come on as a consistent contributor on the wing. No idea why we'd change that once he turned the corner.Surprised no one has suggested Sholl to sub, and Curtin to the wing
Based on form and load management Cumming would make more sense.Surprised no one has suggested Sholl to sub, and Curtin to the wing

No issues with Peatling or Cumming, just think Peatling was poor today and we need a full game into Sid so it's probably the easiest way to make it happen. Have no doubt Peatling will play some good footy, in fact I thought he was really good last week.Agree completely.

For the opposition?Milera and Laird are there to be attacking options out of defense

Well maybe it turns out Keane is the best option but I haven't been impressed in the preseason or today. It's alright if he's offering some attacking drive but today there was none of that, free kicks given away (got away with a couple more) and then issues with his kicking so there wasn't much on offer. Just a whole lot of cringe when he went near the ball.I disagree with the Butts for Keane move. Losing any form of attacking drive from your defensive unit is a disaster as that's what controls your outside game.
Seeing we've cut up two middling teams, it's likely a case of don't fix what isn't broke.
