Yes I think posters want key forwards to mark everything that comes there way and that doesn't happen anymore .You miss the goals by Rachele and Rowe that resulted from bringing the ball to ground?
All clubs say it these days, must have been an addition to media training school over the last couple of yearsNot too keen on this "playing our way" rhetoric. Reeks of "we didn't play Port Adelaide footy".
Because of this type of stupidity.Still pissed with the result. How did it happen.

Keays had over 600 metres gained, wtf are you on about. Should get the 3 Brownlow votes comfortably. But hey, posting our midfield sucks on this board is great for farming likes, so I'm sure you might get a fewOur key forwards had 7,7 and 6 possessions and TT played some ruck. 4 inside 50 marks. Now do they suck or our mids can’t kick for sh*t?
ROB lost hit outs to their second ruck and as a result we were thumped in centre clearances.
Our mids had fu** all metres gained.
Basically our mids suck. Individually they might be ok and go alright in a midfield that compliments them but in ours they suck suck suck.
Freo's 4 main mids 1522 metres gained, Crows 4 main mids 1451 metres gained, the big difference was their wingers and half backs shat all over our wingers and half backs in that regard, Jordan Clark especially. Our key forwards had 7,7 and 6 possessions and TT played some ruck. 4 inside 50 marks. Playing just 2 good quarters of football should never get you 3 votes. He was atrocious in the first half, much like his pre season form. Hopefully he's kicked into great now much like the rest of the team.Keays had over 600 metres gained, wtf are you on about. Should get the 3 Brownlow votes comfortably. Listen the Sheriff of Crows Criticisms, take off your Ambassadors hat and tell me what Sloanes and Crouch’s were, here’s a start Crouch had 18 at half time and Brayshaw over 492.Keays had over 600 metres gained, wtf are you on about. Crouch had 18 to half time. That’s deplorable.Freo's 4 main mids 1522 metres gained, Crows 4 main mids 1451 metres gained, the big difference was their wingers and half backs shat all over our wingers and half backs in that regard, Jordan Clark especially.
Crouch played the main inside role the same as David Mundy for them how many metres did Mundy gain?Listen the Sheriff of Crows Criticisms, take off your Ambassadors hat and tell me what Sloanes and Crouch’s were, here’s a start Crouch had 18 at half time and Brayshaw over 492.
But metres gained was one stat, how about centre clearances, how did they go?
As for farming for likes, I don’t need to bag the mids for that, everyone loves me
15 less than Crouch and Crouch had 7 more handballs but Mundy wasn’t one of their better players.Crouch played the main inside role the same as David Mundy for them how many metres did Mundy gain?
Collectively no but at last the coaches have worked out what Matt's best role is, that's 1st possession and feeding off by hand unless he has a clear path forward, I hope that signals the end of the experiment using him more on the outside. He's an inside mid and a very good one, most teams have one of his kind, unfortunately it appears Sloane is still going to be used in a similar role if yesterday is an indication at least until Pedlar gets up to AFL speed. Sam Berry in for Soligo has to happen I think if Pedlar's not ready yet.15 less than Crouch and Crouch had 7 more handballs but Mundy wasn’t one of their better players.
Do you think our mids did well?
This is absolutely damning. Van Berlo can **** right off.Because of this type of stupidity.
I've been banging on about our mids running forward of the contest for a long time, but for some reason it seems ingrained in what we do (one of the reasons I did NOT want an ex-player as our midfield coach). It's great if you win possession, but if you don't the opposition are running free and under little pressure.
This is from the first centre bounce

The ball is loose thanks to a fumble. Schoenberg is on the offensive side. Sloane is at the contest. Both ROB and Keays run past the ball. Look at the huge gap directly forward Fremantle's way) of this ball. We have 4 players past the ball. Only M Crouch is on the defensive side. He is flat footed and tries to intercept the handball. He misses and so we have ZERO defensive coverage. Only a missed kick inside 50 saved us from a goal because of this.
I can tolerate it when coaches of successful teams say things like that. Even great teams can have an off day. Nicks saying we didn't play "our way" doesn't make sense. All we've done during his tenure consistently is lose games of footy. We absolutely played "our way".All clubs say it these days, must have been an addition to media training school over the last couple of years
