Is he a run of the mill outside player

OR

Is he a key to St.Kilda's premiership chances.

Discuss........

According to David Parkin, he is the latter, along with Gram and Montagna.

You need your share of outside receivers and ball carriers. He needs to step up.

Now.:thumbsu:

Jason Gram is SHIITE

Nothing special.

Tigers had hopes he'd become a top line winger. Made some slow improvement over the years but never really did anything.

I wouldn't rest all your hopes on this kid. He's just a stock standard winger and i'd say that Greg Tivendale is probably better.

I dare you to watch some footy, I dare you.

I do and everytime he gets the footy he plays on, and 8 times out of 10, he screws up, he is stupid, useless and crap
GT should be ashamed of himself, and fire his own ass out of a cannon :thumbsu:

You should hire someone who knows something about footy to edit your posts or even censor things like the above where you risk making a total tool of yourself. Seriously.

Fiora was a shocking selection by the saints. They will never win a premiership with him in the side. He is a little soft and a very poor decision maker. Don't forget that he could not get a regular game at RFC when they were winning wooden spoons. As for Gram, he is a good player.

Fizz was very good for us early 2005, but has gone backwards ever since. He was excellent in the prelim 2005 (only player still having a crack in last qtr), but that has been the only time he's really stood up when we've needed him. This year he started off very poorly, but is slowly getting some form back. If he doesn't contribute in the next couple of weeks he'll probably lose his spot to a R.Clarke or Gwilt.

Fiora played 57/66 games at the Tigers from '02-'04 = that's 86%. I would certainly call that 'getting a regular game' ...

I would agree that Fiora lacks hardness - but that is not his role. He played some excellent footy for the Saints early in 2005, averaging 20+ touches and a goal a game. He has not been able to find that form this year, but does have ability.
He is living on borrowed time ... will not be given much longer to prove himself this year.

As for one J. Gram, let me show you some stats:
He averages 20.5 disposals per match in 2006.
He averages nearly 2 tackles per match, not bad for a running half-back.
He is ranked #11 in the competition for rebound 50's.
He is ranked #1 in the competition for total bounces
He is ranked #8 in the competition for long kicks per game.
He has played just 25 games of AFL footy ... he has been asked to step into the shoes of 2-time All Australian half-back Aussie Jones ... and I would say he's doing a bloody good job!

Fiora is really good if your winning. He will turn a 10 goal rout into a 15 goal rout.

If your one goal down though, and he is running towards your forward fifty, you are stuffed.

I think I partially agree with this assessment. He still is a good precise kick to the footy when aiming at goal, even when we're losing. The problem is he doesn't appear to get it too much, maybe he doesn't want it?
