We're already missing 2 of our best mids.
And you're thinking very short-term about form. We've come off 4 months of pre-season for players to earn their spot. And you want to add in one or 2 backmen, who aren't currently in our best back 7, just because you think it's an easy kill?

You try those things in Round 17 when you've got tired players and have already qualified for finals, not in Round 4!
Doc's a good mid.
Don't limit Kemp to the backline.
Fish has been sh1t.
3 or 4 changes isn't panicking.
There is probably only 2 or 3 teams that we could afford this luxury(and these guy's have no one to match H& C).

No way would Cowan be dropped, hes doing a terrific job
Fisher was actually pretty good last week also. Played the loose man and cleaned up in defence all day.
As to form in the vfl, I reckon thats not really the best guide.
It's the training ground that counts when a team is picked.
Wow, you must have seen a different Fisher from the one I was watching. If I was to rate him out of 10, it would have been a 3.
Think he is an okay player normally, but he lacks consistency

It’s an interesting one, on one hand, Josh doesn’t deserve to be picked off of a 5 disposal and no score game in the VFL.

On the other, we have no real other options to replace Owies (suggests that Martin would’ve been a straight in this week if fit).

However, glass half full mindset has me knowing that Honey is more suited to the main team and plays ok to well whenever he’s called up.

Hoping to see LOB have a blinder under the roof kicking to Charlie and Harry.
My understanding was that Honey played about half a game last week before being rested to be the emergency for the sub (if that makes sense)

Wasn't there a poster last week that wanted to gave a crack at Owies for only having 4 touches, was willing to give him a bit of leeway for his 2 goals?

yeah, that was gene simmons and he was appropriately humiliated for it........

Clearly Fish was doing a job. A few loose kicks but that can be said of all players on the day.
The replay ...watching when one already knows we won. Things look different without emotion.
But just my opinion. We all have them and often different ones.

Do you have LOBs stats?
Nope, on the AFL website knock yourself out. We were talking about Fish not Lob, so r u saying he wasn’t one or our worst?
Given he had 17 touches and 8 were turnovers, almost half the time he touched the ball he gave it to the opposition then didn’t tackle them!

How about u answer the question champ

Champ?

I asked the question of another poster if Fisher was "the worst player" last week

You jumped in due to your agenda of wanting Dow in for Fisher, with "one of the worst". So you couldn't stay answer a simple question

You then repeated his stats, and in tune with my original question, you for some reason you couldn't find another players stats

So, go waste someone else's time

After 2 wins and a draw, 3-4 changes is unnecessary if they aren't forced changes.
We can't afford ANY luxuries.
Surely we learnt last year that every game and every 4 points means something?

Yeah-Champ, so he was good was he? Or was he one of our worst? You’ve ducked this for days- come on just say he was shite! It’s ok, he was

You guys need a room or something .. every post is you 2 or 3 having digs at each other .. so annoying … just don’t engage for the rest of us
Sorry mate, **** it - I’ve blocked him, I’ll pretend he doesn’t exist, apologies to everyone else too

Personally keen to see Honey in action.
Circumstances see him in the team this week and he’d be well aware he has to grab his chance while he can.
O’Brien likewise would need to be BOG this week with Acres returning for Adelaide.
If Dow doesn’t get the vest this week, he may as well clean out his locker and head down to Moorabbin and start getting to know his new teammates …
Honey has fwd power - I like roll of these dice
