With other top 6 contenders (bar Freo) having a mixed start to the season, this game is MASSIVE.
The opportunity for a buffer on the ladder is there for the taking but it will take a great performance.

Very happy for the late game. Birthday lunch for the missus, 3 hours should be plenty and then back home. Early game woukd have given me no hope.

Can we beat last nights crowd of 50,675 and do 'em like a Dogs dinner...weather is good yeah?
It's a terrible time for footy, I bet the players hate it too.
I'm also anxious about the game. Last year I'd be wondering which Crows team would turn up, the winning, lets-get-at-em team, or the hopeless ninny team. Not so worried about that this time. I'm more worried about lethargy from waiting so long, and also concerned about injuries occurring on the field..

The twilight timeslot is very average, but will go down this afternoon to have a look. Doubt there will be much more over 20k in attendance, so a good chance of getting some decent seats.
It's a shite day, so it would be embarrassing if the roof was open.
Reckon maybe 16k total, 3k Crows and a bloody big win.
I want to see danger and the bont head to head. That would be interesting.

I didn't know what to expect in Round 1 against the Kangaroos despite the very encouraging sighs in the pre-season.
I ventured over to Etihad for Round 2 and felt strangely relaxed and confident that we would win.
Despite the debarcle last year, I had no doubt that we would beat the Dees.
I expect the Bulldogs to apply the heat early and then for us to gradually pull away from them for a solid win (4 - 6 goals)

Danger would out muscle him 9 times out of 10 but the Bont just has that reach and silky skills that it would make for a real challenge. Hopefully we see it today.
