Hmmm maybe we need to trade one of those four for a bigger body

Or simply try drafting one rather than flankers or trying to turn someone into a midfielder. Once we get back to longer games their is a spot for all 4 of the smaller midfielder in the rotations.

Ruck depth a problem. Even if Draper is an awesome ruck.
Starting midfield lacks extractors/blockers.

Ruck has me more worried than anything else.

Ruck is a worry as we have two very promising young rucks however one in Draper still has to find consistency in producing his best and also measure up to AFL level while Bryan would be 3 to 4 seasons away from doing that.

Langford should be forward regardless. He's too handy a forward marking target.
Forward / wing for me. He is pretty handy as a winger as well. The forward marking will only work if he has a couple of tall targets around him.

Yeah.
HFF, move up the ground. He's good at finding space and grabbing the ball. good kick too.

Feel our best side looks like;
Ridley Hurley Ambrose
Saad Francis Redman
Smith Shiel Merrett
Langford Daniher Tippa
Fantasia Stewart Stringer
??? Heppell Parish/McGrath

Can't really pick who our best bench is. Or our best ruck either

But those 18 would be our best. In those spots.
Ideally that bench would have another big mid, another quick versatile runner and a decent med/small fwd.
And we'd have a clear #1 ruck.

Not saying they are any good but people are way too harsh on our small forwards performances. The ball wasn’t down their often and when it was it was kicked long and high to the Carlton outnumber.

I’m not saying they’re guaranteed to be good footballers but I’ve seen people writing off both Snelling and Ham based on one game in incredibly difficulty circumstances.
