Cordy @ 193 takes McKay?
Wood @ 187 takes McGovern?
CCurnow? Naughton goes back or maybe Trengove is a late inclusion.

If Naughton goes back, they're tallest forward will be.....Dunkley @ 190cm?
We have Jones @ 199, Weitering @ 196, Marchbank @ 193 and Plowman @ 193 :)

I know it's not all about height, but that makes for a very interesting differential and possible match-ups.

It would suggest that all of our defenders need to play from in front, but with a hand squarely on their opponent's chest

Our forwards have to play and fight hard to maintain the front position

One thing I have always liked about young Marshall from PA, is how hard he works to gain/maintain front position our young talls should take notice

And please midfielders, kick in front of our forwards, not at them

During the telecast last night they put a list of the top 5 players in the league for average distance covered per game. Walsh was equal third with an average of 15.7 km per game. If this kid is putting up numbers like that at after one preseason, his levels after 3-4 years in the system could be anything.
Hope he builds on his body of work from the first 4 games and puts in another great performance tomorrow.
An increased level of composure across the team and more accuracy by foot and we can win this. Blues by 15 points

Can you blokes honestly say with a straight face that you think you're a chance to win tomorrow? Watching you blokes trying to kick a score is funny enough let alone actually win!! Here's a little fun fact, we've won more games this year (5 games) than you've won in two years!!! hahahahaha #greenshoots

Yet you can't beat us. Lol.

Cas worked hard on improving his goal kicking with Sav, with a reasonable amount of success in an area that is notoriously difficult to turn around. He’s served us as well as he’s capable of, and if that’s not been good enough then it speaks to our limitations as much as his.

While acknowledging that he has serious shortcomings as a player, to the point where he’s unlikely to be able to continue with us into the “brave new world” that we’re building towards, I for one have no difficulty in respecting the guy, and expressing gratitude for his 100+ games of service. I’d be very surprised and disappointed if his teammates and coaches feel any differently.
My only question is this: he’s CLEARLY gotten himself much much fitter this year. Where’s that been?

I'll cop that Polson is a limited player, won't get too many touches. But I've seriously grown to like him after being of the opposite opinion.

I think he's a system guy, a pressure small forward is a role we need in the team (yes we obviously need a goalkicking super skilled one or even two as well) with some leg speed and I thought watching him play in 2018 his last few games especially that R23 against the Crows if that's his baseline I'm in on him.

I don't have a problem with him being incluided especially if it helps with the forward structure, I trust him to be in the right spots and be a positive to our team.

I’m the same, has some good attributes. Theres a few others I’d have out before him.

I’m so sick of my club being the butt of all jokes for opposition supporters........20 years of it!!!
I didn't even know we are...don't care two hoots what anyone thinks or says.
I know that in 1968 we came out of a long dark and the light shone for a long time. It will happen again.

yet it's made you a stronger, more resilient person, sb - and quite frankly, if you've got your health...........

Living under a rock, in the dark or just plain denial of late?
Well I dont follow the news or read papers or go to other boards...so if thats a rock it suits me fine.
The old saying is..what you don't know won't hurt you. But more than that..I think its all just fun and games in the end. When your up you can skive when your down you shutup and wait. This city is always like that. Its mostly good natured ribbing.
You should try being in Liverpool or Manchester or Glasgow. Now that is rivalry.
