Mansell didn't jump into him... initially it didn't look high. I'm surprised Freo player was concussed and there was a free against.. unlucky for all.
The team is finally winning..
No injuries.. good.
I really didn't like MRJ before his injury. I hope he isn't rushed in.
That's exactly what should happen to anyone wearing a head band or a man bun

The problem is that there are certain fans - and quite a few of them on here - for whom umpiring consumes their existence and they think the free kick count should be 31-7 our way every week.
It's a default response, to the point, when there is a genuine gripe, it gets lost and branded as just more whinging.
Last night's umpiring was as bad as I have seen it in any AFL game, but when you complain week after week after week, a genuine and necessary swipe means nothing, which is sad.
yep I am willing to cop that we have played a brand of football, during the Dimma years, drew a lot of frees and we weren't hard done by during that time (but also not favoured by umps). Its a boy cried wolf situation, only the boy is every team's fanbase and the wolf is O'Gorman.

He sure did. Saw that it hit the post.

Don't know WTF ARC was doing - after they reviewed it they literally said there was insufficient evidence that it hit the post or was touched. Then it was umpires call.

I reckon ARC thought the goal umpire had called it a goal and were going to rob us.
It's annoying that they dont train/prepare for goal review decisions where there is contact with hands/fingers. The telltale signs were obvious to any non-biased fan.

Very interesting to note Mcqualter basically said they tried to get Bolton off the ground in the last but he ended up staying on and it turned out to be a pretty good outcome. I wonder how many times clubs take players off the ground when they are confident and feeling good and end up killing players momentum. Something to think about I guess.

Not kidding when I say this but the umpire should be dropped for the week for allowing that tackle to go for as long as it did. If the ******* moron blows his whistle earlier when it was clear as day Graham had his opponent wrapped up then its a ball up and there zero potential for injury.
In the current 4 field umpire system, more than 1 umpire has eyes on the play. Not one chose the flamin obvious. This no early call for holding the ball is representative of how out of touch this team of fluoros were with the concept of how the game is meant to be safely played.

Just watched the game on replay as was out last night. A big fugg you to the pack of kents (the umpires)… stuck right up em.

Shai with a superb game. Awesome last mark and that sealer of the game! Legend!

Loved Trent's continuous effort.

Dusty great and of course Taranto just improving every game. Vlaustin and Bakes so gutsy.

Looking forward to next week againts the aints with Trent's 300th! Get around him! Carnaaaa!

I was furious last night and the way the game was being umpired in Freo's favor, I ended up quietly watching the last quarter drowning in Peroni. I didn't give a shit, we were playing great footy and even if we lost, I was super proud of our effort. The corrupt pimple head o'gorman should never adjudicate another AFL match. An utter disgrace. You could tell in the first quarter, Freo literally throwing the ball and the umpires were turning a blind eye. You could see the frustration - Jack waited for the quarter to end and then gave a serve to the closest Umpire.. Graham's tackle, which should have been paid holding the ball MUCH earlier than dumping the player into the ground. PAY the frees to both sides and the frustration won't be a problem.

Nank was AWESOME in the last quarter. Injured, but played on and simply gave our players first use of the ball. Taranto is a jet, Bolton's last quarter was off the scale. Ross is having a good run and I think he has well and truly earnt his spot now. Jack and Cotch had impact and a HUGE welcome back to Vlastuin. NOW we have a stable backline to build momentum towards the finals. Broad, Bolta, Grimes - solid. Baker and Short were fantastic. Ryan and Clarke quiet, but keep putting games into them.. Super happy with last night's effort.

Happy with mini's coaching - two solid "away" wins and a perfect opportunity to beat the 'aints on our home turf in Cotch's 300th.. We win this game, have a break and setup like we did in 2017....

Afraid to say despite our best efforts we still finish a game and a half out of the 8 due too the shitness of those below us & how we play so well at marvel.
Of recent some changes:

Have started to win close ones
Plugged the red time scores kicked against us
Beaten poor sides.

Who know how many additional changes can occur. I hope for:

Wins at Marvel which is linked to the army turning up in full voice you slack mongrels
JR8 kicking 4.0 per game instead of 2.2
An increase in wins - 80% win / loss record in the regular season from this point
Complete injury recovery of Tarrant and Gibcus by Round 16 (I might be stretching it here but what the hey.)
No further injury to our current listed players

Big ask. Doable but.

Im not a big fan of sports betting. But Richmond went from $101 pre-game to $41 for the flag.

Has there ever been a bigger jump after 1 game in premiership history?

As a percentage of the market, the change is quite small (about 1.5%).

In that sense, a change from, say, 7/1 (12%) to 5/1 (16%) would be bigger.

No no O’Gorman was unhappy he paid a mark so he just reversed his decision to keep the contest tight and appealing for the tv viewers

Clearly, the game didn't go to script and so Freeo received free after free until they got back into it.

Then, when the margin was down to seven points and we'd received two free kicks in three quarters of football, we received two in a minute.

reckon shes better
