This highlights why Bolton needs to be a permanent midfielder who goes forward. He is too good and influential in the middle. As a forward, he goes missing when the game is on the line.

Also, not many picked this up, but Jack's smarts contributed to Bolton's last mark. He kept body on Pearce, and then ducked around the front of the post. Pearce had to go behind and got blocked from jumping whoch allowed Bolton to outjump everyone. So clever.

Jack dies the little things like you mentioned that dont get mentioned or noticed. Also how sublime was his tunnel ball act. One of the smartest footballers ive ever seen - extend his contract would be my recommendation

Great win with undermanned team, yes that's right, undermanned, Freo had 4 extra players on the ground who were among their team's best particularly O'Gorman.
Both milestone players tonight played well, great to see Short kick 3 goals, couldn't have come at a better time. Taranto, Vlaustin, Cotchin, Balta, Broad, Bolton all great. Really difficult to pick top 5, reckon we should make it top 8 just for tonight.
