Not sure if you are dumb or joking. Was arguably best on last week but in 7 days has lost it?

I'm struggling to remember when we had to tough it out to right to the final minute to get the win. All respect to Port and I don't ever want to meet them in an elimination final on their home turf again. The only player in our side who might be a bit nervous about selection for the GF would be Houli. Just looked a bit off the pace of the game even allowing for the slippery conditions. Sadly I think age has finally caught up with him and while he's been serviceable since his return to the hub, I believe we have better options for the biggest game of the year.

Yes,we were tired but Port were buggered.

Port played 1 game in the 24 days leading up to tonight.
Long time, wrong time to get the week off.
In a shortened season with shorter game time momentum rules i reckon.

Will be interesting to see how the Lions go with 1 game in the last 27 days.

The only reason I was calm was my 2 year old was asleep in the room next to us and my wife was holding our 1 month old who was asleep as well on the couch next to me ha ha.

But I made sure I didn't miss my targets

Well done to the boys for not reacting to any of the niggle from Port. We know we had to improve in that area and we did. You saw Port players occasionally trying to provoke our lads but ours would just give a little shove and keep it moving. No undisciplined free kicks, and the one 50 we gave away was from maybe the brain fade of the year from Rioli.

Just goes to show no matter how experienced and mature you are, you are still capable of learning and growing. I hope the boys keep that focus going into next week, it'll be needed more if we play the Lions. If we play the Cats, given they are a more mature side I don't think they'll engage in anything over the top.

But our club rises above that crap and let the results speak for themselves. Always respectful and represent us with class. Well done to Port for their season. Will be formidable as they mature.
