Have had a gut feeling since then Carlton will be favoured this year to win the trophy.

I'll be honest. If someone had said to me on my way into the game that Gibcus would do his knee, Prestia would do his hammy for the 411th time and Young would get knocked out and the opposition had Charlie and Harry and then asked me to pick the margin, I would have said 60+...
Brave... Annoying and ultimately Mansell's miss, Baker's frustration and a Balta Rance moment cost us. I love the heart though... also good to see a team in their premiership window (cough cough) almost get rolled by a side out on their feet was delighful.
We'll be fine but it'll be a different looking team next week.

As you all probably know, I'm one of the last to blame the umps but it literally felt like they got a call from AFL House at quarter time and made it their mission to ensure we didn't get up.
What makes it worse though is that even with all that bs going on, we still should have won.
Brilliant effort from the team though.
Thought we were a chance to snag it in the end but it wasn't to be.
Shattered for Gibcus. Some players just get a wretched run with injuries.
I'm not of the school of thought where everyone is exempt of criticism because of the circumstances.
Pickett was shocking most of the day. Cost us on a multitude of occasions.
Changes:
Out: Prestia, Gibcus, Young, Pickett
In: McAuliffe, Bauer/Kosi, Clarke, Sonsie

If you’re going to be a foot soldier you at least have to know your limitations. Foot soldier and dumb really shouldn’t be in an AFL side

With the consistent crap from the umpires i sadly have to agree with your votes.
Curnows 3 1/2 minutes unmanned in the backline will get him over the line for the the three votes.
Any richmond supporter remember lynch ever playing in the back line to try save the game??

Prestia must retire unfortunately. Thank you for the premiership memories but it's time.
The CFL would have drafted this up over summer. That is their 2024 payday. Blooze winning would be a cash bonanza. Not an accident they are winning all these close games.

Plays like this pretty regularly in the first 6-7 weeks of the season. A game full of almost chances for him.

Im not going to lie, I was happy when Prestia was subbed off not because his tissue paper legs tore again
because he is ****ing slow and does a hell of a lot of ball watching lately.

Mansell was sub. He wouldn't be in my team. a goal assist .pretty rubbish kick marked by someone
I actually reckon back line looks better with one tall. Grimes & Broad weren't bad.
Midfield looked with no Prestia.
We didn't loose because of Mansell, we lost because we still have the same turn over merchants playing in team and players making half assed attempts.
It's frustrating.
The point I'm making is at crucial times when we needed 'that' goal mansell had missed.

Completely and utterly devastated for gibcus. Nathan brown vibes. It’s an injury that is so significant for his career too with 2 years off footy. It’s a nightmare. Wishing him a speedy recovery. Our backline is in serious strife. Without our most important developing youngster.
Other than the injuries, we looked alright tonight. Balta easily our best, followed by maybe vlastuin.
Balta is seriously rising and becoming one of our most important.
I’m losing patience with Thomson dow. A couple more games of this and I would like to see sonsie replace him permanently. I actually would rather sonsie right now but I think he has another week off.
Pickett seriously needs to go. What on earth are we doing playing him. He makes 10 costly errors for one good piece of play. It’s getting ridiculous now. He is not part of our future. Get banks and brown in the team NOW.
