Yep…Mini hasn’t made any wholesale changes …didn’t need to
…just minor ones like this

am a big fan of players taking a shot when they believe they are in good position to slot a goal

problem with holding on to the ball waiting for a better option is it opens you up to a turnover
Yeah it looks like players have been told to back themselves hence Shorty pinging them from outside 50.

Love this from JR8 about how we are back winning lol

We got rid of Dimma. He was in the crowd tonight, carrying right on, wasn’t he. The crowd was going ballistic when he started doing his little handshake. It’s all about him.
As joh would say he was feeding the chooks

If we can somehow swing it this year I’d love to see:

Gibcus, Balta, Broad
Vlastuin, Grimes, Short
McIntosh, Taranto, Ross
Graham, Riewoldt, Bolton
Baker, Lynch, Miller
Nankervis, Martin, Prestia
Rioli, Cotchin, Hopper, Pickett
Sub: Clarke

Emg/ Ryan, Ralphsmith, Mansell, M. Rioli
WOW that is still a very good side!

I hope this is something Mini changes - tag the oppo's most damaging mid FFS
100%, and he did use Marlion in a run with role in game 1 so fingers crossed.

Not sure about that but we peeled off our last 9 games and didn’t loose after that

Going into the granny on that form no team had a chance against us even with Tross out of the side. We were unbeatable
Kinda forgotten because of all the close losses, but we were storming home last year too.

11-1-3 + Elim final loss
6 point loss to eventual grand finalists, Swans at the SCG.
3 point loss to the eventual premiership, Cats
2 points loss in a meltdown to the Suns
4 point loss in another meltdown to North
Draw in a 3rd meltdown to the Dockers
2 point loss in the prelim to the Lions.

Lynch injured for the Swans, Suns, North and Dockers games too. (not that it shouldve mattered against 3 of them)

Very very little had to change for us to finish 15-0. Just Lynch not being injured would've been enough for 14-1.

This hurts, similar story last year, if we won the close losses or even some of them, we would have been top 2 or 4
remove umps and we are there

Yep, and we would have been top 2 last year with a record of 18-4 and a percentage of 131.17% if the game ended at 3 quarter time. This year, we would’ve been 10-4 albeit with an ordinary percentage of 106%.

Glad that McQualter seems to have found a solution

werent we bottom 4 at the bye in 2019

9th after the bye on 28 points (7-6). This year we’re 9th going into the bye with 26 points (6-1-7), so a little bit behind 2019. Still feels kinda similar.

For what it’s worth, if Brisbane lose all their away games (Saints, Dees, GC, Freo, Pies) and we beat them at the Gabba, then we can drop a game and still make Top 4 lol
