Poor ol George can't take a trick. Most weeks he's slammed from pillar to post, most want him hung drawn quartered then dropped, and when like on the weekend has a ripper game, yes ripper game, noone gives him any credit.
17 disp, 7 contested, 6 marks, 315 meters, 38 presure acts, 2 goals and 6 involvements with only 78% tog is an excellent days work for a smal forward.
And on flying for marks, he has been doing it from day one. If he doesn't take it he brings it to ground for the other smalls.
As I said, it wouldnt surprise if Dimma gives him 1 coaches vote. Loking forward to them being released.

Imo lambert in for Ellis, we are simply out of balance with the 7 man defense.. Ellis, houli and short all in same team doesn’t seem to click as well as just 2 of them.. clearly Ellis is the weakest out of them with his poor panic under pressure decisions. Harsh but no choice..

Would love butler in the team too but my god it would be harsh to drop Higgins or conca for him at this stage... and they are the only 2 possible to go out..

however dimma has shown all year he’s willing to make the tough calls and being a die hard supporter I want the best team in possible!! Butler is in our best 22!

Lambert is a certainty and Butler is line-ball.
Broad is feared in defence, he can rattle the Glenferrie Hawks forwards.
Probably, as you say, Ellis and Higgins can be omitted.

kmac would be the perfect match up for issac smith with his height, pace and mongrel push and shove tactics, smith is a gun but a bit of a nancy boy as well. he is one we need to rough up and shut down.
