To be fair, we look like the only decent non-Vic side at the moment, perhaps it is in the best interest of AFL house that we make it lol. Then some black magic will happen against us on GF day...

Lid off if we win tomorrow though, can see a few already booking Melbourne accomodation
I organised my accomodation in Melbourne over a decade ago....
Was looking at flights up to Sydney for the WCE and Geelong games that are back to back for winter school holidays. Cheapest flights this far out were with Qantas of all carriers at $150 and then I realised the ****wits at the AFL still haven't released the schedule for the Geelong game.

While awaiting the final official Donza forecast, I note the bom are predicting no rain for central Melbourne tomorrow.
More rain today but the ground should have dried out by game time tomorrow.
It struck me last night there arevery few wet weather specialists nowadays. Thought the skills shown by most tigers and pies were poor. One touch players like Pendles and Cumberland were still good.

May completed training this morning. All but confirmed to play. Let's go.
Our first test of where our ceiling might be this year. We'd want to win this with Gawn out and a debutant in; though by all accounts a deserving one.
We need plenty of improvement out of the centre to go as far as we did last year I think, not many signs of it so far. In general play, organisation we have the comp licked I think, with possible exception of Pies, just need better clearance numbers somehow. Does one of Parker,Mills and Rowbottom need to make way for pure speed and agility? It's almost impossible to think of leaving one of them out of the mids, but not sure we can win it all with them all there either. Do we even have anyone to fit the speed/agility bill to go in there?

I think this game is gonna tell us alot about buddy at this stage of his career.
He got an absolute bath by may last year and it was highly publicised. Buddy is a proud legend of this game and he will be setting himself for a big chance to redeem himself , if he can still reach a high level we will see it tomorrow.
If not then some tough conversations need to be had behind closed doors

Buddy had played quite a few games before May. I thought had some good games including kicking his 1000th goal. Epic game that.
Buddy at 50% of his heyday is still better than most. Buddy to bring it on and blow away the doubters.

Chad had an almost game last week. He almost kicked a goal. He almost got to the contest in time. He almost tackled a guy. He almost....just one of those games..we've all played them.
