How do you start a season with such a long injury list?

Sounds like poor condition and fitness coaches.

They always seem to be suffering 4,000,000 leg injuries.

I’d be doing all sorts of audits on the various indoor and outdoor surfaces at this place, whether they’re happening at training or they’re developing niggles and stress reactions that are becoming full-blown injuries in games elsewhere.

It's also terrible list management there's a stack of players that were signed for too long despite being injury prone.

Getting the old routine back. The walk through North Adelaide with the missus, a quick pint in the Oak, across the road for a pastie at the bakery then the walk down the hill to the game. Seeing all the people I've been sat near for years, the kids being grumpy teenagers now, accidentally singing the oppositions team song as they are all so catchy, not joining in with the clapping because it annoys me being off beat, then heartily singing NTUA before that beautiful buzzer sound and my abuse of Jonas, sorry Dixon, begins! Intermittently peppered with proclaiming my love for Butters and agreeing that JHF is going to be a legend with everyone around me. Then the sigh from everyone when I crack out my first....bloody Hinkley of the game!

I'd love to see it, but I can't really see Mead getting any midfield time this week. I mean, Rozee, Butters, JHF, Hartlett, Wines, Drew and probably Boak would all be ahead of him at the moment

That is what I am wondering. Sounds like they would have been better off if their preseason consisted of gentle walks around their oval.

Well, we clearly know fox has no idea.

- Firstly, you name Rozee and Butters in the forward line. I get team sheets mean nothing, but come on, that’s half of Ports best midfield line up. A forward line with 2 talls, Port has played 3 talls for quite some time.

- Then you name 2 rucks. Every interview of the coaching staff has basically indicated they won’t play 2 rucks. (Ok, “we don’t know yet…” reads as no)

- the named emergencies are just funny. 2 key backs and 2 key forwards…. 2 of which didn’t even get named on the extended pre-season bench. Like no team in history has not named any midfielder/wing/half back as an emergency.

But my personal favourite is naming Lord in the 23, but then talking about how he is injured…

Do better Fox.

Is the side posted not the side for the pre-season game vs Fremantle? It says AAMI Community Series side.
