you will be sorely disappointed, he is first choice in the 23, selectors prove that, with his speed, run and carry and second efforts..
Without reading back, he is not on about John Noble by any chance? The poor man could win the Brownlow or Norm Smith Medal and still there would be people demanding he be delisted.

The good:
Everything.
Clearances.
Ball movement.
Beau hitting the scoreboard.
Reef. He is ready.
Hill, definitely adds a new dimension up forward.
Jordy
Tay + Mitchell combo
Daicos
Pendles
Nobes

Everyone.

The bad:
Howe injury.
My leg after trying to step over the seats to the next row and then legging my leg stuck in between.

Not a Bad or Good but we where to Loose down Back in the 1st Half. Pushed up to far

I want to give some credit to Johnny F*cking Noble. I thought he was excellent.
You just have to accept the 1 or 2 complete blunders he'll deliver each game. He more than makes up for it the majority of the time.
Must admit, l was not a fan of him early, but now l see that he really suits our game style. His explosiveness and willingness to take the game on is top shelf.

As long does not kick across Goal deep in Defense;)

Degoey does it as well, seldom criticised because he’s further out the ground.
Everyone except Pendles and Nick does. Crisp, JDG, Adams, Sidey, Darcy, etc...If people think we can find 22 players to play at breakneck speed without errors, they're kidding themselves.

It was an amazing win in the end, but that first half was unbelievably frustrating to watch.

WHE and Sidebottom were atrocious in the first half. Easily IQ's worst game. Maynard was pretty poor. Noble was back to his panic merchant ways. Elliot and Cameron missed absolute sitters. Our defence pushes so far up that the ball repeatedly spilled out the back resulting in them waltzing in for an easy goal.

The effort was certainly there from the beginning though. Bobby Hill really turned the tide late in the 3rd qtr and then everything just clicked beautifully in the last qtr.
So you’re saying we still have lots of improvement 😁

Despite it being normal for so long, it seems absurd now to have runners on the ground during play. I can’t believe it took so long to change the rules.
You just taught me something. I wasn't aware that there are no longer runners on the field.

My post was tongue in cheek. I went searching for the name of our current runner and found the video.

At the end of the first quarter, McCreery was all but delisted in my mind. By the 4th quarter, I had totally forgiven his 2-5 possession games. He didn't fumble the ball and in fact registered 20 disposals.

Murphy I have always rated ... mainly always ....., but I got caught last week under the dark cloud that was hanging over the game thread concerning his likely exclusion from the team. But the man with the muso name didn't debut and Murphy played. What I liked most about his game was the manner in which he lifted his profile after Howe went off, and Murphy had to stand even taller. He was sensational in the 2nd half.

Had 25% of them to quarter time….. just saying.

The thing I love most about the injury complaint…
Injury happened in q1….yet wasn’t until q4 that the injured player caused a problem….despite being replaced.

Yup…that’s usually how an injury loss occurs!

Pretty sure it was a reference to them already missing Henry and Kolojashnij from their normal defensive mix. Adding Stewart so early in the game only compounded that.

Some of those deliberates were bull crap. A defender can't do anything these days.

Thought the 1st one was there but haven't rewatched it yet to see if Hawkins should have been the recipient or not. Becomes a lesser chance of a goal if it was say Miers or Close taking the kick. Hawkins was quick to claim it though so he may well have been the obvious recipient.

If those first 3 and a half quarters are as sloppy as we get all season against the best team and we were still able to pull ourselves back not once, not twice but 3 times, then we should now be able to start handing out hidings this year. I legitimately thought it was all over during the third quarter and that our spirits were killed after working it back twice.. then we kick 8 goals to their 0. Some of our ball movement made me want to take my clothes off

You wear clothes watching the footy? Can only assume you were at the game, but even then, pants are optional.
