DeGoey - picking up where he left off last year despite the interrupted pre-season. Lmao at the posters talking shit about him in the game day thread.

Howe - moved more freely than I’ve seen in the past 2 years. He’s crucial to our back 6.

Lipinski - will be the bargain of 2021 trade week. Amazing debut for the club.

N Daicos - kid is a freak. Just looks so comfortable at the level in only his first game. How good is it to have two gun Daicos’ on the field???

Grundy - another that people were talking shit about in the game day thread. Was immense in the last quarter. Quieter for the first 3, but despite that, I felt his actual ruck work was some of the best I’ve seen from him. His connection with our mids and tapping to advantage had vastly improved imo.

How good is it to watch a team who attacks and plays fast footy with intent? Bring on the rest of 2022. We won’t win like this every week, but it’s going to be entertaining to watch regardless. Too happy now to list the players who stunk it up, I’ll save that for tomorrow!

Had 9 disposals, 6 of them contested, and was =2nd for pressure acts of about half the game suggests to me he was okay.

That was a sensational game, the atmosphere was immense. Proud to be a Pies supporter right now, the walk from the stadium up the packed concourse to Sthn Cross with the Colllliinngwoooood chant reverberating was just the best.

Loved everyone’s game, Grundy, Adams, Moore, Howe, Daicos (x2) … just too many to name.
