I'm not making excuses, I have stated that I am happy with the trade even though I made it a few weeks before I had planned on doing it.
For someone who can't walk, he averaged 101 in the 10 games he was not a sub last year. Brilliant for someone coming back from a badly broken leg.
Will average 110+ this year even if he is a sub again today, you'll see.

Barlow gets a nice coloured vest, would hate to pay full price for him, when he could be really cheap in a few weeks.

In your defense, doing a sideways trade after one Round 1 would have been incredibly aggressive. In hindsight, might have paid off, but hindsight is a wonderful thing

I wanted so bad to do Ellis > Bugg
I'm keeping my trade. I put Ellis on the bench and put Morris on the field.
I know things could get bad but as a mature aged recruit I feel his career is on the line here. Has to get at least 10 touches and 5 marks.

Why Ellis>Bugg? Morris doesn't look like a DT scoring type at all. Could do ok in SC though..

Hahahahaha,
Although I reluctantly benched him, Barlow scored 67 points in a half today. No guarantee that Shiel my M6 this week or Devon Smith my mid emergency will score any more than that in a full game against North in Tassie.
I'm stoked that I already have a better M5 than most teams, even though he hasn't played a full game yet.

True, I bought him in 2 weeks too early, but his price won't drop any more than 10k next week. Not enough for 99% to bring him in. Me>everyone else who doesn't have him.

Barlow has scored 120 points in only 3/4 of a game against Geelong and Sydney in Sydney over the last 2 rounds, way more impressive than Watson against shit opposition.

Still have 24 trades. Thought I'd be happier not pulling the trigger and I do feel better for it. I always say I'm not going to waste trades and end up wasting them anyway.
