True, but still played 78% TOG (same as Luey).
When you rely on gut busting running like Clark does, it wouldn't matter how much TOG you had - your scoring would be significantly effected.

Due to the number of rookie mids pulling decent scores, I actually think there is cause for serious consideration to increasing the starting rookie mids you have by 1, for those who went 2 or 3.
Not saying I will do it, but it nets 200k+, which can allow for 2 upgrades - surely this is tempting when we can base the two upgrades on form after round 2.
It will cost 3 trades, but it will net 2 upgrades of in-form players - this is really no different from upgrading later in the year.
Another factor is the lack of forward rookies seemingly available this year - although it would have been nice to pick the 2 correct rookies from the start, I don't think you would want to be missing out of the few that will make you money.
Craig stuck him in the ruck for most of the game due in part to the absence of Maric. There is probably no greater challenge for a ruckman than facing Aaron "Andre the Giant" Sandilands on his home turf, particularly a part-time one.
Expect better from Tippet in the weeks to come.
That is complete bulls**# IMO! Say you have picked up Gumby who doesn't look like he will score any more than 20 PPG this season, and there is Carl Peterson who looks like the next Chris Judd. Dont you think it would be logical to trade Peterson in!!?
Nah. I watched the whole game, he spent most of his time in the forward line and a couple of times he had stints in the ruck.
He could have scored decently had he converted, he missed 4 or 5 gettable shots on goal.
Still don't think he is a very good pickup though, he is not really a DTer, will avg in the 70's imo. He will most likely be used at full forward and doesn't play that higher role that may high scoring forwards play (Eg- OKeefe, Pav, Brown, Riewoldt...etc).
He had very low Tog..
Are people going to jump on Malceski if he dominates next week as well?
something tells me that AFL article has got the flu mixed up with Hargrave and ClarkJust said in an AFL article hat Hargrave was playing with a bad case of the flu, so hopefully nobody is thinking of trading him out.

so if your particular team has Hargrave smiths, I wouldn't panic yet, but I wouldn't be overly satisfied with my 410k defender just yet

The only changes I'll be making are getting Gumbleton the f*** off the field and bringing Franklin off the bench. I had Peterson on the bench too, but I'm backing Hitchc*ck to score better against WCE at Subi (Port always play well there) over Peterson running rings around Geelong's AA half-back line.
so BOTH Clark and Hargrave had the flu?
