plenty. Have a look at how far the full backs run at a kick in. Without looking for examples, it’s alsmost like the rule doesn't apply. These guys seem to be allowed 15 steps for some reason, when the fact is most of them would cover the 15m in half that
100%.
Watch what happens this week now that Fox has verified it….:

Next week there will be 50 calls made and changes will be made.
It’s so pathetic and farcical.

I love the game day thread and always try and remain cool. I hope everyone appreciates this on the next thread because today was a shocker. Hopefully some have learnt what it means to respect every player on the ground when all they do is give everything they have. We all make mistakes
Really? I didn't think it any worse than any other time and frankly didn't think too many of the comments were unfair. Game threads capture heat of the moment thoughts and should not be heavily scrutinised after the game.

This is the goal review footage of Schultz' (2nd?) goal. What is deemed the inside edge of the goal line: is it the back edge of the post or is it the back edge of the padding? I saw this live and thought it would be given "touched" but the goal review people showed the frame after, where the defender appears to touch the ball half a meter behind the goal line.

14 steps at that pace is 25 metres Garry you absolute spanner.

He ran across 3 mowing strips.

I called it as 25 minimum. Would love to know how wide those strips are. I was under the impression they were 10m wide which would mean he ran 30m lol

kudos to match committee and coaches.

Not once did I see Nick and Jordy in CB.
….and holy crap we looked as good in the first half as we have in Previous weeks.

After half time we lowered our colours, but our level in the first half was so high it’s hard to criticise.

JDG as a forward drifting up is a nightmare!!
Such a better structure. Even when we get players back.

Ps. How good is Keene, no wonder we were annoyed when he went home.
I don't think the club realised how good he could be when he returned home. It's with Adelaide that he has become a regular defender, not us. He is another one who got away.

Can they line up frames? They looked at the front on view as well to work out when he touched it. You can't tell if he has touched it yet in the frame you are showing.

Fox showed it just before - 24.2m. The strips are roughly 9 I think (given 5.5 take up the 50m square).

I stupidly decided to argue the point on the main board - surprise surprise there’s now crickets. I genuinely lose IQ points every time I go over there.

Because this view was synchronised with a different view that showed his hand on the ball.

This view doesn’t conclude he is touching it.
When synchronised….its a frame later.

Technically you're right, you can't definitively say that he's touched the ball, but the hand looks so close to the ball my instinct is that he has touched the ball.

The dumb campaigners will literally argue against proven facts. Its like a bunch of petulant 3yo brats after every Pies win

All clubs set up to play Collingwood. It's always an underlined game or games in their season fixture. Big crowds, TV exposure, etc.

Crows brought their "A-Game" today but still fell short. Not from their own doing but because this Collingwood team play like ANZACs. Passion, doggedness and a will to put it all on the line for their mates.

Couldn't be prouder. They make me and my family happy.

You’re right. If people think running 24.2 metres without bouncing the ball is okay, then they’re just showing their ignorance of the rules,or their bias against us,or maybe both.

No. They synchronised the frames. His hand touched it behind the line.

No technically. He didn’t touch it until it past the line.

We are the best drilled side in the comp. We win because everyone is prepared to sacrifice their natural game to become role players. We play the riskiest game plan in the comp also and that requires everyone to do their bit. We went in undermanned and finished even more undermanned. If people appreciated how hard it is to maintain that with all the other variables that a game will throw up, then no player should be ridiculed or abused for mistakes. I understand that people will vent but today was a massive effort by every player on the ground. There was nothing to get abusive about today. Maybe it's time for some to develop an attitude of gratitude.
