I think if Krueger stays fit, and with Mihocek back, along with Richards back into that F50, l think DeGoey stays mid..
DeGoey was copping that tag before injury, now Daicos is. Difficult for sides to go completely defensive against both.

I’m happy to admit that I didn’t think we’d be able to overcome the absence of so many Best 22 players today. I’m so glad to be wrong.

Quite clearly, we don’t have a Best 22. We have a Best 30! We’ve built a squad who really can plug and play, regardless of who is missing. Great coaching and great spirit in this group. They are never beaten.

So bloody impressive.

We reached breaking point on the injury front against the dogs. Hoskin-Elliott back was important today. Ditto Kreuger playing instead of Johnson.

Great win despite some errors, we got it done.
The Hyphon magnificent again and a breakout game for Freddy.

Something very off about Melbourne. For their biggest H & A game of the year, their turn out was abysmal. Where I sat I could count about 6 Dees fans. They even gave up booing Maynard when it all got a bit too hard. The crowd noise was so overwhelmingly Collingwood (great for us), that you'd think they were on the bottom of the ladder. As weak hearted as their team who play way too "pretty" to compete with the better sides. I expected a lot more from them today. Maybe their fans have given up too.

Great pressure effort from our boys. Even deep in the last quarter when the game was over, we did not let up. Great signs.

Dean is going to be a very good defender. He just needs time to settle in, and get confidence at the level.
He will be a stalemate of our defence going forward....
he seems to have decent footy IQ, calmness & reads the ball in flight well

physical /athletic profile is where he'll need to improve: core strength 1v1 (better this week), a tad slow off the mark and doesn't have any natural spring (doesn't launch off the ground to spoil, which limits his ability to get 3rd man up)

I have a man-crush on Harvey Harrison. He is an incredibly smart footballer, who reads the play instinctively, gets to the right spots and has great skills. He does something constructive virtually every time he touches the ball.

It’s great that he has been given Swanny’s number. He will do it proud.

Extraordinary team win.
This team has the system coarsing through the veins.
Every player, regardless of experience, understands his role to perfection
I want to highlight the amazing performances of the young guys tonight.
Fin: Well done. Proved tonight that he is ready for the AFL challenge.
HH: Brilliant fitness, going back into D50 to assist and then into F50, knowing where to be at the right time.
Kreugs: Wonderful. Showed what an asset he can be as a mobile forward.
Sulli: in and under, linking up in several ball movement chains, is getting better and better.
And of course, tribute to the more experienced players;
Crisp and Lippa: wonderful through the midfield
WHE: His form tonight was like that of 2018
Darcy Cameron: great game to stand equal with Gawn
Sidey: still the link in the chain par excellence, and still can take a hanger!!

So pumped with our team.
Massive massive win tonight.
We are still in the Top 4 mix, well and truly.
Bruzza. What can you say. BOG.

You magnificent bastards!!
That was a great win.
With all our outs and Nick getting a heavy tag, a six goal win is massive.
Really happy for Kruegs, what a comeback. And Dean also played a great game.
Jaicos really stood up today, and Crisp and Lipper were excellent.
We have to make sure we don't give this win back next week. No letting up, full speed ahead to the bye.

Well done for mentioning Lippa. He was great all day in an unglamorous but highly effective and important role. One of his best games for the club.

We didn't even play well, yet were never really challenged.

Really pleased for Kreugs. Should have played against the Dogs. Kreugs actually wants the ball - that's half the battle.

WHE was super - maybe he needs a freshen up every now and again.
Can’t see why you’d say we didn’t play well, or what you should expect that would be better than a four quarter win with 8-9 players missing, over a finals quality side……..
