Head to Head:

Collingwood: 3
Williamstown: 14

How They Fared Last Week:
Geelong 7.8.50, def by
Collingwood 11.10.76

Box Hill 10.11.71, def by
Williamstown 18.12.120

Trivia:
- Collingwood have never beaten Williamstown on the hallowed turf of Victoria Park. All three of the Magpies' wins over the Seagulls have been on either the secondary home deck of Olympic Park Oval or the neutral surroundings of North Port Oval and Princes Park in finals (the bastardry behind the fixturing of the last one we shall not speak of in polite company without a 7-second delay)...

- Following on from that, Collingwood's average losing margin to Williamstown at Victoria Park is 44.2 points. On the flip side, owing to the vagaries of fixturing, the Magpies have not clashed with the Seagulls at Victoria Park since Round 16 of 2013.

Note:
- This match will act as something of a stand-alone feature for domestic supporter consumption, with the seniors traveling interstate to take on Gold Coast at Carrara. The VFL will finish at approximately 3:30pm AEST, leaving fans about an hour to get from Victoria Park to a screen, a couch and/or a bar to watch.

Over to you...

Hi there do you know what has happened to Josh Kelly?

Might get Wells and Phillips in the VFL this week. Hopefully Sier's injury issue isn't something that means he'll miss too many. Moore returning could see Cox back at VFL level. Assume McLarty will return this week.

On the flip side, could potentially lose Kirby and/or Wills and/or Aish to senior duties.

Need to start winning these types of games against top 8 sides if we want to play any role in finals.

Of all our VFL games this year, I reckon this is it, this is the season definer.

Win this and we will most likely play finals, with a four game winning streak and some confidence building.

Lose and we probably go 8 premiership points out of 8th spot, with only 6 games left.

The problem is Williamstown are a genuine flag threat, one of the best 3 sides in it, so this will not be easy at all.

Genuinely looking more forward to this then the game after it on TV.

At The Moment Williamstown could beat our Senior Team.

So is this a TV or Youtube Game then?

So I might have to Leave Early to see Start or I miss the 1st Qtr

Williamstown beating our senior side.

With the amount of ball we'd be giving them on turnover, they'd be in with a fighting chance.

I suspect we'd squeak home in the end, though...

We've won the last two against Willy. And after recently going to Port Melbourne and dominating for large patches for a win, then knocking off constant torturers Footscray, they'll have their confidence up.

Daniel Wells to play too, just in case people wanted another reason to get down for a look...

Did not get that.

Well I most likely miss that Start of the Seniors

Yes, you'll probably miss the better part of the first half, all told, between catching trains, waiting for them and getting picked up. Unfortunate...

Sucks. Though IF we are getting Flogged I might head off Early.

Plus the AFL is on TV and VFL is not

Hi there do you know what has happened to Josh Kelly?

Jordan Kelly, you mean? Hasn't played for us for over a month. Think he's injured...

Overheard talk in the crowd at the Footscray game that Kelly was out for another 3-4 weeks, so that would make a return a couple of weeks off. I didn't hear what the injury was though.

The things you hear when you mingle with the plebs, instead of perching on a gargoyle.

Cheers, b.
