**** Carlton!

Carlton once again failed to kick a meaningful score, with Melbourne getting a much-needed win for them. The commentators desperately tried to appear like they were supporting McKay after they all spent the last two weeks sh*tting on him. It was kinda weird.

Last Time We Met
Hmm, let me think... something happened that night.. oh that's right. We celebrated 150 years of our club and then decided to bend over and let Carlton spank the shit out of us. Not even Heppells public pump-out and jumper tug in front of a group of Essendon legends was enough to get us going. The 2022 season really did suck!

Team Selection
Will be an interesting week in terms of team selection. We have some good players coming back, but we also know that Brad generally doesn't make big changes.
Possible Ins:
Peter Wright - Hope is in this week
Monty - Was the hold-over emergency, but I suspect he will be back to VFL unless someone is injured
Voss - Has been good int he VLF despite not kicking a heap of goals
Bryan - Strong VFL form, but still doesn't take enough marks for mine. I suspect that's what's keeping him out of the side
Kelly - Was decent in the VFL and probably comes back into eh AFL assuming he isn't suffering from any long term effects of the concussion.
Baldwin - But who would make way for him? Can't see BZT or Lav getting dropped.
Waganeen - Played he best game for us in the VFL to date. Maybe he'll get a game if Menzies is out.
Possible Outs:
Weidman -That was not a good game in any way for him.
Shiel - Was the really tactical or did he flare up his injury?
Mezie - Hope he's ok after being kneed in the face.
BZT - Got spanked, but I think we should back him
Draper - Rumours he is carrying something, might be worth giving him an extra week to recover
Hind - Might make way for Kelly.
I don't feel confident at all this week. I'm glad they didn't get spanked, but it will be another week of how bad Carlton is and how pathetic their scoring has been.... The writing is on the wall this week for a classic Essington display with Carlton likely to kick their biggest score of the season.
Still - Dons by 10.
