Training watchers today saying Phillips and Wanganeen were the only ones of the emergencies that took part in the captains run. Doubt it will be Phillips as we don’t need to bring a second ruck in.

Wanganeen as the sub for our 30th anniversary game? Imagine the reaction from our supporters (not that this is a token selection either. Wanganeen has been in good form in the VFL).

Wonder if Wanganeen and Silvagni will match up at any point 🤔

Pumped for this game…I reckon this is a free hit for us…Carlton are under all sorts of pressure.

They will be chomping at the bit. Gotta start well.

Come on the f***ing Dons!

If Weed does play some ruck I’m hopeful he can take a few grabs between the arcs. It might even be good for him.

I cannot see us holding Harry and Charlie tonight.
I also think our midfield is a bit one paced as is theirs. Yet they have older, stronger bodies.
everything points to a loss for me but our side have been competitive in just about every game this year and give you very good effort.
We need to isolate Weitering so he cannot influence other inside 50 contests
Tag Saad so he cannot provide half back drive
Take advantage of Cripps flaw. Stringer and Langford most likely to be able to match up on him and expose in forward 50. Sydney gave teams a blueprint.
Support our skipper- shiels got away with holding and scragging him last week, my guess is ed curnow will go to him this week. We need to block and harass the tagger.
must be physical against Silvagni in the ruck. He is barely 190cm and cannot break even ruck contests. If weideman rucks against him and shows no physicality then he is done I reckon.
embrace the spirit of 1993- let young bombers overrun higher priced blue baggers and destroy their season!
Go Bombers!!

Really hope we’re a lot more organised defensively in transition tonight. We were putrid last week, especially through the corridor. Can’t allow Doc & Saad to run around doing what they like, changing up angles & cutting us up thru the middle.

Big chance for Caldwell & Hobbs to continue their emergence in the midfield, supporting the captain. Also hope Brad runs Stringer through there with high dosage as well.

C’mon Dons….proactive, high intensity footy will see us beat this mob!

Just a reminder if you guys beat Carlton, and gws beat north, the blues are in the bottom 4. You owe it to the competition.
good explanation for morning wood right there

These are the high pressure stakes games we tend to drop

Getting the job done after going in favorites should see the wider football community start to finally take us seriously.

Lose and Carlton is back whilst we remain the same old 6,000+ days finals without a win joke continues
