Not a game to look back at.

Hard to even pick a best on. Maybe Day or Hardwick.

Hardwick I think is the only player not to make a number of errors, other than maybe Lewis because after 1/4 time our mids refused to kick to him, instead always looking for small forwards who were being double teamed.

The Match committee should just hand out zero votes. Woeful effort. Wasnt even GCS pressure. No excuse.

Time to get DGB in for Frost, sadly it won’t happen

Time to play one Ruck, neither can play as a forward so why we are persisting is staggering, it’s like playing one short

Ward has to be a lock to come in
Yeh that Reeves/Meek combo has never really looked like working.

Neither are athletic enough to play that second ruck/forward role.

Problem is Reeves doesn't have the fitness (yet) to ruck solo but we could just use Kossy as a makeshift s cond ruck (might help him get more involved in the game as well).

Sam and co did a huge job getting Meek to request a trade and relocate him to Melb.

They are not going to give up on him .

I would like to see Meek get a run for a few weeks by himself.

Pittonet and Dekoning next week. Do we need Noodle and Meek?

I actually wouldn't be against giving Meek a couple of games by himself and give Reeves a couple of weeks rest.

Tell him it's time for him to step up and show he can make it as a primary ruck in the AFL.

He's had enough time in the system and is old enough now to show he has what it takes.

I don't remember the same posters questioning the Meek/Reeves combo when we were winning.

Both babies in terms of ruck experience against one of the comps most experienced rucks.

After centre bounce we play one short with Reeves. He’s that bad around the ground. It’s why if we pick one it should be Meek. Noodles has been awful this year.

Somehow that feels like the worst effort of the year. We weren't smashed, we were swept away with a broom. So many disappointing players it is unfair to single out any one for special criticism. Day and Hardwick aside there was hardly a decent player out there for us. Maybe Lewis gets a pass given the service provided and perhaps one or two others. But overall that was just appalling. Luckily it is one of those games that is so dull and has so little bearing on our season that we will all hopefully move on from it without deep scarring. Not much else to be said for it.

He is the tallest man in the league and taking a few marks around the ground and having some presence seems a mile away.

He looks like a ripping lad with that big friendly smile and all, but would love to see him jump up and smash a few bodies and take a grab or two.

Meek will be fine. Has only played about 20 games. Needs time to develop. We got forced to take him off for a runner because the mids and hff were offering so little (Amon aside).
