Yes....I didn't say they were my changes...they are what I think Simpson will doThe seniors are showing no signs of leadership. Even Darling didn't step up yesterday and he's played the second most games for WCE
Hunt straight back in for mine.Kelly may be touch and go for essendon. Assuming he is fit.

That was from 9 centre bounce attendences in his first game back from an ACL in a disfunctional midfield. Ginbey had 1 clearance and 5 CP from 13 CBAs, guess he isnt up to it either?Culley had one clearance and six contested possessions while playing the majority of his game in the middle. Not up to it at this level
Came to post something very similar to this. Would love to see Maric trialed at HB, or possibly rotating with Hunt on the wing. Would prefer him to be using the ball rather than the one kicking goals... we have plenty of other tall forwards who should be able to do that.We just lost to North Melbourne at home. Let that sink in. There is no timeline here where Sheed and Gaff should be in the side - if they weren't able to lift us to win against Norf then they are never going to be able to do it. Literally no point to their selection.
Oh but Sheed tagged Oliver to 27 disposals that time did he? Great news.
In: Brockman, Kelly, Hunt, Dewar

Maric bullet pass in the last quarter was awesomeOut: Sheed, Gaff, H.Edwards (team balance)
In: Kelly, Hunt, Maric
Maric to start
Maric and Hunt to share wing/HB duties. Both can be line breakers... Hunt with run and Maric with kicking skills.

Simmo must reckon nobody is too old to play for the Eagles.Yes....I didn't say they were my changes...they are what I think Simpson will do
He was definitely eyeing off those 94 Premiership players before the gameSimmo must reckon nobody is too old to play for the Eagles.
He hardly touched the ball and didn't use his height yesterday and then Maric came on for him the last qtr. I wasn't sorry to see him go.
What I was sorry about was the Hutchinson was involved in that really nasty collision when Duggan went down and then he just walked away. He was one of the few team mates who didn't come over to give Duggan a pat on the back and even a NM player or 2 did. That is not the way to be a good team mate, not the way to impress your captain and having been nowhere near the ball for 4 qtrs not the way to cement a place in the side.

I wouldn't use maric at HB.....the high half forward to wing role ...is what I would look like for Ryan
Written like someone who has never done an ACLI like Culley and want to see him play out the season.
But I fear he really wants to be a hard inside type player but he just doesn’t have that edge. You can see him go into contact and at that last moment just goes a bit passive like he doesn’t want to cop the hard contact. Harsh call but that’s what I see. He’s not a bull.
He won’t make it as a mid - forward is his only hope.

Yet, oddly, somehow aroused...Agree, at least Culley has a physical presence over the ball.
Gaff and Sheed are the equivalent of a wet lettuce leaf going at it HARD against a used powder puff.
You come out feeling wet, powdered and slightly violated.
Cully, only one game back into the AFL after a year out ACL. WAFL isn't the same pace. I hope the Eagles persist with Cully. Perhaps a defensive forward. Time to give him an extended run to see what he can be.I like Culley and want to see him play out the season.
