Butters is playing, genuinely thought it deserved a week! Although guns of our game are always protected!

Always amazing when Hipwood got suspended for a tackle that won a holding the ball free kick, while other players get a fine for punching and/or slapping players off the ball (albeit not that hard). Throw in the Brownlow candidate discount as well.

Damn, Noah can’t get a good run at it. I’d like to see Brain start and McKenna to sub.

pretty big bummer around answerth. really went away and worked on his weaknesses last season and came into the side this year a much improved player. was unlucky to lose his spot and now unlikely to get a chance to put his hand up for selection again until what will almost be finals (if we make it that far)

the hard question next week will be who leaves the side for ashcroft.

think getting the balance right will be more interesting. how do we fit ashcroft into our rotations with berry, mccluggage, neale, and dunkley? let alone the likes of rayner or bailey.

Agreed, I think Ashcroft will play in the wing.
Reville most likely to miss out to be honest.

butters is the natural berry target, much bigger body so should be able to bully him at stoppage

Berry would be good for Horne-Francis as he could wrestle with him. Butters will be elusive and we need someone like Wilmot to play on him.

with mckennas form using wilmot in that role would be robbing peter to pay paul, we need his run off half back desperately.

if we are going to try the flanker pushing up to stoppage route id be asking the question of fletcher / ah chee / reville similarly to how we rotated players onto petracca earlier in the year
