These two will come into the midfield and give us a much needed boost in grunt

Most likely will happen

Both coming in under done most likely don’t perform and get dropped after a week it’s not the right way to do it and it’s not fair on players
Unprofessional from club but what choice do we have especially unfair on Bytel playing for his career needs a block of games for fitness to play AFL footy

Bytel needs to play in the ones and in the midfield. Season is over anyway. We know what Jones offers.
If Hannas pulls up he should join him.

It’s not popular but Bytel and Hannebery need another week in the VFL. If they put up another solid set of numbers then bring them in because our midfield needs a change.

Other changes are hard to predict. A few deserve to be dropped. Long will come in for someone. Clark would be good to see. McKenzie probably needs a week in the VFL too but we miss his intensity and his running.

Will be good to see Marshall ruck by himself. Swing Sharman forward or go in a bit smaller. Tricky game.

FB: Webster Wilkie Highmore
HB: Hill Battle Sinclair
C: Billings Steele Wood
HF: Higgins King Membrey
FF: Butler Campbell Long
R: Marshall Crouch Ross
I/C: Gresham, Clark, NWM, Sharman
Sub: Windhager

Out - Ryder, Jones, Byrnes, Paton
In - Ross, Long, Campbell, Clark, Windy (sub)

Not sold on Campbell coming in but the guy has been in great form in the VFL and there are no other options for a tall forward option given we are experimenting with Sharman down back. Backline looks a bit unbalanced and could probably do with another small defender but Ratts was happy with Sharman and Highmore is probably needed given the WC talls.

Long promoted to best 22. If Clark isn't right to play, Windy into best 22 and Byrnes or Lienert to sub. Jones has to be dropped.

I initially wanted them both in, but you are right. Neither played a full game in the VFL. They need to tick that off before being considered for selection.

I wanna see Leo at least he takes the game on and is aggressive

We might as well play the kids, the old guys aren't getting it done and we aren't playing finals. Reward Campbell, Leo, Bytel etc with games. Sit out guys like Hill who stank it up.

I'd at least be interested in watching them. I'm mentally checked out of 2022, I'm not going to bother turning up right this minute. If the kids play I might.

Hanners might as well ping a hammy in the seniors. He's as brittle as chalk, he might as well clock another senior game so we only paid $400k per match or something.

Leo has got a lot of the ball this year, but his ball use seems to have dropped off a cliff from what I've seen of him. Saints kicking program?
Wasn't his kicking that let him down yesterday just thought he made some silly errors

Reckon he's the type of guy who'll bennifit from playing at a higher level. Simmilar to sinclaire at VFL level. Like I think leo needs the spae and the guys who can actually lead into space to allow him to cut and create. I know his kicking hasn't been as accurate but I just kove his ability to break lines and cut in board. Something we need more of.

We're not winning in Perth, this team is soft as butter.

They are a better side than they were a few months ago. I wouldn't go in cocky, they ran Geelong close over there.

Who is the psychologist at the footy club? It is so evident that this is all above the shoulders. I don’t know if that a positive or negative but we need to sort our shit out. Can’t deal with another false start at success

They are playing better now than they were earlier in the season but they are still a pretty average side that we should beat if we are switched on.

Hawthorn are currently beating them by a couple of goals at half time and we flogged them, although we were playing better back then too.

Also Naitanui isn't playing today but he will probably be back for our game and he makes a big difference to West Coast with their clearances.

They are no good out of Perth but we play them there. The umpires will give them their 20% loading and they have been getting better by the week. We should beat them but should have won against Essendon and Port.

With North winning there's some incentive for them to lose. It will be interesting to see how that race ends up.

I doubt they care about pick 1, they would be happy with a top 2 or 3 with Ashcroft.
