Glad I'm not the only one keeping track of this. We're too far into the Hughes experiment to just give up on him before he hits the 100.

2 more games, just 2 more.

well clancee Pearce made it to 100 game didnt he?

I remember Troy Cooks last AFL game. I was there. It was vs Port in Footy park in 2007. Round 22. He had to get in. It was hs 150th and final game for the dockers. Add his 43 games with the swans and it was his 193rd game all up

Any thoughts on using Treacy in the midfield centre clearances?. Brayshaw and Serong are being hammered. treacy has size, agression and is not slow. He drops pack contested marks but is ok if he gets clear.
I really like this idea. Bang and crash. Make it happen.

Hard not to argue with Switta being dropped. Not sure on the replacement though. Like others, I don't think Freddy should be an automatic inclusion, his form has been like Switta's.

Serong -Play some time forward. We need the bigger midfield too

Serong goal kicking in general has been quite poor..this year he has been better than Brayshaw, but Brayshaw esp in 1st quarter looked good.

Brayshaw can move to wing, can serong so they rotate..we can't have serong and Brayshaw together at same time in mid..

Prefer see serong/Brayshaw (rotate), jom, Aish, Ras and MJ in there. Rotate Jackson/ Treacy in there

The other thing is Shultz needs to play 10-40 metres out and not up the wing. As we have seen the last few weeks he hooks it when shooting from 50 out. He is good within that 10-40 range. Takes marks, gets ground ball snaps, gets tackle frees but no way can he compete with 190cm wingmen. Same as Sonny. Play them at the feet of our forwards.
I think the logic is when we not getting clearances and the ball is not going down to the fwds they think his pressure and tackling can be used up the ground

Peel for the rest of the season.

Honestly, what possible value is there in playing Tabs over any of our young key forwards who need experience?
Rotated depth?

Sad though.... From the post Pav era between 2017-2021, the bloke was ridiculed and was out best tall forward consistently

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills but do some of you have short term memory loss? Not only was Tabs only just holding onto his spot anyway but I struggle to think of a player who performs worse straight off an injury...

Dude should be nowhere near the AFL team this week and assuming Darcy is back shortly, should only get near the AFL team if we are playing Jackson as a mid or Treacy or Amiss need a break

Tabs was playing with a sore back

The team was playing garbage, he was still doing more than Treacy has most games

I do agree he needs to spend a month at wafl level though

Depth.
As soon as Darcy is injured, who do we have? Jackson as ruck full time. Treacy as back up. The forward line then is changed.
Tabs is depth and experience. Teams have it, and Fremantle need to do the same.
Micochek gets injured, Collingwood being in Johnson and have McStay in.

Yeah I'm not saying to delist the guy but he's not best 22 IMO, at least, the benefit of playing him over Treacy is not worth it (and I'd argue their would probably be an effect on other players if he took his spot).

Anyone watch Peel today? Kuek had the 2nd least number of touches on the ground. At a time when he's closer to a spot than ever before, I find that astounding unless he got injured.

Not sure we should be rewarding that form with a senior game.
