Bitterly disappointed.

Too slow in the midfield, no run and no skill by foot. So many bombs to McGovern and Barass, and so many dinky 20m kicks that still couldn't hit a target.

Thommo - I had him forced into retirement by half time.

Talia got towelled up but he had no help whatsoever from the mids.

Hartigan and Lever were woeful. I have never seen two bigger stuff ups by one player in the same game than the two by Lever (dropped mark and shank straight to eagles player in the corridor followed by the diversional complain at ump for getting in the way. Almost deserved to give away 50 for that. I don't think either cost a goal, miraculously. And for Hartigan to gift 6 or 7 shots on goal to darling...

Jacobs - is actually a bit overrated, clearly. Can't jump, getting stitched up by duds this year.

Lynch Betts and Jerka did nothing to get themselves into the game

Felt like a final,

Felt like Classic crows tonight.

Does there tend to be a bit of a derby hangover the following week? I mean it's been virtually unheard of this year to see a game from Adelaide as poor as this one.

Not often you get to see Jacobs pantsed by Jonathan Giles...
Not from us there isn't, Port do.

The showdown being played last week had nothing to do with it except for maybe a 6 day break.

We just choked under the pressure.

I know some teams don't tag, but is there a point where a player like Gaff gets so much of the ball and sets it up so much that you at least have someone stand near him? It's got to be better than the scenario we saw tonight.
With sloane out and dangerfield no longer in the side we didnt have anyone with the tank to go with him. we did rotate players on him but he was too good last night.

We could have started by standing someone within 10m of him though, you don't need a tank to start on him.

Its like Eagles not tagging Mitchell. He destroys us every time he plays us and soon as we did tag him, the hawks started crumbling a way. Gaff has now had 3 BOGs against the crows in his last 5 outings. I think he will be heavily tagged next time we play adelaide.

Henderson actully looked good in the first half. Did he go to him? Gaff doesn't need a hard tag but you need someone to close his space and pressure his kicks. I think geelong did that and gaff still had 36 but was putrid with ball in hand.
