I'm not one to advocate nastiness, but Tom Lynch's face would be considerably improved by a fist in it. He's just a thoroughly unlikable guy.
Nothing will improve the visage of Dylan Grimes. Handy footballer, but he head looks like a scrotum popping out of its undies.
Steele was magnificent in the first 3 quarters.

A solid performance for a tough grinding win. Our kicking was off but our effort was good all the way through. Murph, Bruzza, IQ and the defence were great, and the fwds popped up to play their moments enough against a defence that is still strong.

Frampton def has a spot in the team
Very ugly game. Clearly the ball was a piece of soap early and our poor goal accuracy kept them in it. How frustrating was that to watch? How many posters? Point after point after point. FMD, I was tearing my hair out. Just didn't look polished tonight. Give the Tigers credit though, they played obnoxiously defensive and did a good job slowing us down and getting congestion around the ball. Just a slog of a game. 4 points, move on.
Sometimes when a good oppo has a few players out you can get a bit complacent, and I think we were tonight.

Yeah, nice to get an ugly win.
Great games to Sidebottom, DeGoey, J Daicos and Maynard in the last quarter was amazing. Also credit to Frampton who played well tonight too and Nathan Murphy's courageous efforts.
Don't think Carmichael is a good sub either, looked like we had plucked a dude out of the crowd to play the last quarter. We just didn't click and there were so many missed opportunities.
Also, if we give the ball to Taylor Adams going inside 50, we are going to have even more missed opportunities. He had an absolute mare.
Plenty to be happy about, 3-1 would have been amazing start of the season, 4-0 simply incredible. Hopefully Cameron is OK.
