Should not be playing this week. I understand why he was named but given his history I wouldn't have him near the senior team until he's played a full 4 quarters of WAFL, maybe even 2 games.

Sheed’s junior career showed he was susceptible to injuries like a fractured throat, we should never have drafted him
Well he does have a very pronounced larynx or adams apple, they should've seen it coming..a disaster waiting to happen, only a matter of time?

I like this list, looks like they're taking a swing, lots of movers and shakers, needed against those big Demons, as long as we get to see Culley play, and Hewett again please, his moment is coming...
Ginbey v. Viney/Petraca/Oliver will be fun...

“It was Benjamin Franklin who uttered that 'from adversity comes opportunity'. There's no chance he had Australian football or the 2023 version of the West Coast Eagles in mind when those words passed his lips.

But given the fallout from last Sunday’s RAC Derby the maxim certainly applies.”

Classic Stocks. 👌🏼
I like to imagine that Stocksy sends the team lists off to the AFL full of purple prose and abstract aphorisms. 8 pages long to list the team. Worse than looking up recipes on Pintrest.

I'm glad Yeo was brought straight in to keep the margin below 90.

Hopefully the bench is Hewett, SPS, Petch, Culley.
Also expecting Rotham to be late in for Williams.

She is a seriously awful umpire. Most of them don't have a feel for the game, but she is on a whole other (lower) level.
No issue that she is a female, it's moreso she is not at the required standard - let alone can't bounce the ball.
I reckon there are worse than her. The big problem she has is she hardly pays frees at all so her mistakes are limited to mainly non calls. Some of the others just guess and mostly guess wrong.

Are you, by chance, a screenwriter for Billions?
Because I swear that's how all the characters talk on that show.

Have an advert keep popping up on Facebook, video from the eagles advertising upcoming game, featuring, all the blokes who won’t be playing 😕

I saw the updated one today with Ginbey, Bunga & Duggo. First we roll out Duggo as our captain for photo day now come round 4 he’s one of our poster boys. Might win the John Worsfold medal by years end simply by being the last man standing

Would rather see Hough, Clark, West, Edwards, Cully, Petro or even Trew get a run ahead of XON.

He's played 25 games now and his last effort of 8 disposals against North Melbourne in R1 shows that he's more than likely going to remain a low possession, low impact player since being drafted in 2018. Played well against the Pies last year though.

Would be fair to see how Xon goes playing Shuey's role. That doesnt happen often.

Start Yeo at half back and get him to play that 5th midfielder sweeper, Shuey was brilliant at it.

Our centre set up will be interesting.

1st Williams, Clark, Ginbey, Kelly

Rotations - Rotham, Culley, West, Xon

If there was ever a game to not play Gaff on ball its this one.

But we will.

If its 10 changes so be it. The boys who played a full game would be sore so lets get fresh legs and energy out there.
