I’m assuming Harry Edwards is unavailable as you’d think he’d be named otherwise

How is Foley an emergency when he has a WAFL suspension

Sheed’s fractured throat the result of an errant elbow - I’ll fight the person who says it was Culley

Sheed’s junior career showed he was susceptible to injuries like a fractured throat, we should never have drafted him

Elbows Culley was at it again at training today

I'm glad Yeo was brought straight in to keep the margin below 90.

Hopefully the bench is Hewett, SPS, Petch, Culley.
Also expecting Rotham to be late in for Williams.

Oh goody

We get Eleni to peg us again this weekend

She is a seriously awful umpire. Most of them don't have a feel for the game, but she is on a whole other (lower) level.
No issue that she is a female, it's moreso she is not at the required standard - let alone can't bounce the ball.

Hough, Yeo, Clark and West named on field
Funnily enough, according to Simmo, it's not him that names players in positions, it's whoever sends the team to the AFL. Match committe just puts the names together.

He's also 'pretty sure' being named on the field doesn't make you an automatic selection, e.g., he actually has no idea.

Well in that case I'd have Culley on the bench and West as sub. Petch to start on the field, Rotham in place of Hurn at CHB.

SPS, Rotham, Culley and Petch/Hewett on the bench with the one not named to sub. Leaving a mix of:

Defenders: Cole, Barrass, Duggan, Jones, Hurn, Hunt, Hough (7)
Mids: Clark, Yeo, Gaff, Ginbey, Kelly, Culley, West/Petch (7)
Forwards: Darling, SPS, Long, Allen, Waterman, Petch/West (6)
Rucks: Williams, Rotham (2)

Same.

Was funny how Simmo admitted to having no idea about whether players named on-field actually had to be in the final team.

Went on to blame Gary Stocks.

Would rather see Hough, Clark, West, Edwards, Cully, Petro or even Trew get a run ahead of XON.

He's played 25 games now and his last effort of 8 disposals against North Melbourne in R1 shows that he's more than likely going to remain a low possession, low impact player since being drafted in 2018. Played well against the Pies last year though.
