Eventually we are going to just be a team of 21 x 193cm-210cm unicorns who are freaks in the air, on the ground, and by foot + Rowell. The future of football.
And Anderson (192cm) can surely scrape in there too. Can’t separate the Rowell and Anderson combo.

Omg dimma I love you! Picking my dream side

On a sad note Swallow was on track to break the record of 21 different venues in pretty sure he’s tied with suns legend Jack Hombsch.

One week at a time but if we put a decent show in against GWS

Hawks at home

Sydney away After their Bye

Eagles at home

Kids could get alot of confidence this next month

Im excited to see this team. We could get pantsed and get out run by GWS (most likely) but on paper our kicking skills look better: Mac, Closehy, Read, Graham all better kicks than Swallow, Ellis, Long, and possibly Secco. We should be Marking it a bit more with Read and Mac in the team as well.

Hopefully we can hang onto possession a bit longer and you never know!

Read, 18, was earmarked for a developmental role in defence under Hardwick, but after spending pre-season as an intercept defender, he was thrown forward in the VFL, booting two goals from 19 touches. Read will form a potent ruck combination with Suns’ skipper Jarrod Witts and likely float forward to play alongside Walter and spearhead Ben King.
Graham, 18, was a pre-season darling who immediately impressed Hardwick with his work ethic and ability to cover the ground and is likely to play on the wing with occasional stints through the middle.

Im glad we are making changes. Realistically we are not a finals football team. Getting some games and reps into these young kids, instead of playing guys who aren't going to get any better is the way forward. Short term pain to have the Grahams, Reads, Walters of the team ready to go for a finals push next year.
Agree with all comments - finals should not be a factor or a thought this year. If it happens then it's ahead of time. New faces, new enthusiasm and a greater desire to succeed will bring rewards but it'll take time. Giants game this week should be a very good indicator of just where we currently sit.

It is interesting, on our midfield strength alone we should pick up wins, enough to play finals? Who knows. But seemingly we need to take a small step backwards to move past some of the older players who won't take us forward.

This game won't be one of them though GWS is humming currently. The Hawthorn game next week is one we need to be picking up.
A loss to Hawks at home would be a massive set back - much more damaging than a loss to the Giants. Will be a massive pressure game as Hawthorn may conceivably be 0-4 and desperate for a win against a team where they'd give themselves a chance.

Our bottom 6 looks so much better this week
Nic Holman is pretty much a non negotiable for any coach he meets eh?!
I love these changes so much
I might not love the scoreline come Monday morning but Dimma's a crafty fox
We are a near zero chance of winning so why not blood some great talent?
It's nice to just tap Andrew Witts Bailey and Rosas for a game

Not too confident about the result of this one but bloody excited to see our inaugural premiership team play together for the first time( well majority of). Really hope to see walter snag a few, read to show glimpses of what he can become, Mac Andrew to show why he should never be left out again and the others to show why Ellis, Sexton and co aren't required to take us to the next level. If we could somehow pull off an upset it will be the greatest victory in the history of the club and show the rest of the comp what sort of a force we will become.

Looks like swallow will be the sub which I think is a good thing that he is travelling with these rookies. Not sure if there's anything in it but Flanders named at half back, maybe a daicos style loose playmaker?
